The last Bug Bat you will buy.
If you want to kill bugs, this is the tool to use, it is the most powerful bat I have come across, it is a different league to the others for sale. I now own four of these, one at home, 2 on my boat for the swarms of mosquitoes and one at work. Quality is great compared to the cheaper makes.

Summer must have
Great device for getting rid of flies in the summer. Some of the larger flies require a couple of zaps, but most go down in one.

Pros and cons on this latest model.
We also have an original model. You pay a little more for this one. It’s much better finished with higher quality plastics and feel. It also no longer whines when you hold down the power button. On the downsides it isn’t as big so harder to hit the critters and perhaps most adversely, it seems less effective at killing them. The old one did this some times too but you could put the racquet over the bug and zap them again. The thicker plastic of this one makes that more difficult. It’s nicely finished - it does the job, mostly - just a shame while improving the looks they couldn’t have upped the power a bit to achieve more first time kills.

Cracking good fun.
I knew that the executioners are good, as I already own the basic and pro versions. I looked to see the price, as after about 5 years of use (and occasional abuse, ie hitting walls, ceiling, furniture whilst chasing the little buggers), the original one that I bought, is getting a little bit rattly. Still works well, but like me, getting a little bit tired. So I looked, and found THE REVENGER! My interest was piqued. I read the description, and saw phrases like "better electronics", "blow the wings off of flies", and I was sold. I said the immortal words from the original RoboCop, "I'VE GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THESE!!". So I did. It arrived, I unpacked it, put some energiser max AA batteries in it (just for good measure), and went hunting flies. They must have been scared, because although I live in a rural area, none were to be found. Until about an hour later. Then the little buggers found out how much I dislike them. It does everything it claims to do, be it large or small flies, even those little really annoying ones that seem to float around and occasionally go right into your face. And carpet moths, who mock my decision to get wool fibre carpets, by eating them. They all go with cracks that differ according to size. Basically, this bat delivers! At a few quid less than the Pro, I would highly recommend buying the Revenger, unless your aim is not so good, in which case the Pro comes second. The pro doesn't get as much crack volume, but it still does the job. I like it so much, that I am "GONNA GET ME ONE OF THESE" again. note. Although this review is a bit tounge in cheek, the bat really does what it says on the packaging, and does it very effectively. I've written this review, to help anyone who is undecided about spending the money on this. I've had the "cheap shop" versions, but they are poorly made, and cheap for a reason. If you do buy one, "Enjoy getting your Revenger!"

Best (by a very big margin)
Deserves 10 stars. Puts all other fly zappers to shame… by a huge margin. I have owned around 10 of the standard model, 2 of the larger pro model, and now this one. I still have 2 working perfectly that are more than 10 years old… each with thousands of confirmed kills from my time living abroad in mosquito hotspots. The problem is that they are so good I kept giving them away to family and friends! If you want the satisfaction and fun of making that 3am annoying blood-sucker literally explode, don’t hesitate… go for executioner overkill!

POW! Like, er, Seriously!!!
My previous "Wasp Bat", as I like to call them, finally did a mega-fail after about 12 years of service - simply, the bright yellow, flimsy plastic frame snapped when I wafted at an errant house fly. So time for a new one. Got drawn to this company's range, which include "tennis racquet" style swatters, in various grades (including a "pro" version that runs on C size cells, weirdly, like my Cattle Prod!) - but then this, squat, compact, bigger-than-a table tennis bat, but otherwise, smaller than anything else. Robust, ABS plastic construction, no thin parts. But, mainly, it turns out ... !!!POW!!! - !!!ZAP!!! My usual "blade of grass across the wires" test, which usually goes off (if you are lucky) with a dull redish spark, literally went !!!BANG!!! with a glorious bright blue spark that would probably have hurt like heck had it been my fingers across the wires. Wasps, Mozzies, No-see-ums - your Summer has just gotten a LOT WORSE. And so happy am I with this product, within moments of firing it up - have just ordered another. This is your Actual Insect Taser! 5 stars!!!

Mixed opinions...
I have mixed opinions on this, yes it works "eventually". 90% of the time it doesn't kill on the 1st hit and requires multiple touches. Also the device has a capacitor which retains power for a rather alarming period of time so if you power it on for a split second, don't zap anything then (I've personally tested...) up to 1minute later accidentally touch the mental you will be zapped... So it's not very effective and can also be a bit of a safety hazard, I'm now under the impression I'll need to personally discharge the device by zapping myself before putting it back into storage just so no one else gets accidentally zapped?! Seems silly... unless I have a defective model? (I purchased the Revenge) the device did have 2 pieces of snapped orange plastic floating about in the battery compartment no clue where they came from?! Manufacturing defect?! But anyway... yeah so far not sure about it far less effective than bug spray but guessing cheaper in the long run just more annoying that it isn't 100% or even 99% effective.

Brilliant zapper!
Have had a few different 'electric' fly zappers but this one is definitely the best. It is sturdy and clearly well made, with a rubberised grip and a powerful shock. Previous devices have felt flimsy, fallen apart or have failed to 'zap' insects. This one works exactly how you would expect and has been used frequently to great effect, with no issues.
