Old stock with a few months left in expiry was recd. This item consumption being less and consuming four bottles may take more time than left in reaching expiry date. Better to buy from local market. SKG

Great substitute for people with allium allergies
My girlfriend can’t eat allium (garlic, onion) and is also lactose intolerant. So cooking flavorful foods that she can tolerate is a challenge. This seasoning really helped me add that “garlicky” flavor to sauces and other foods that call for garlic or onion without compromising her tummy. Definitely a nice addition to my spice rack.

Couldn't find this in Atlanta so I got it here. I didn't know anything about it but a recipe called for it. It's got a very strong odor that is not pleasant, but I think it made the dish authentic.

dont buy
I am interested in learning to cook authentic Indian dishes and bought this as one of the spices frequently called for. upon arrival I checked the expiration date and it was 8/2010. Thats almost two years out of date. Unacceptable.
