Was exactly what I was looking for to counter act my statin meds .

I take statin's. my dr recommended this for my legs. my legs feel so heavy all the time. They work. my legs feel so much better.

I have to say I generally have to agree what Dr. Mercola recommends in regards to health as I then follow up with some of my own internet research and so far he has been right on the money, which is why I decided to try his products. I have checked the labels of several Ubiquinol products and his is by far the purest. This goes for all of his products. His items may be a bit pricy but this is our health we are dealing with and isn't it better to go with the best in this situation? I bought the Ubiquinol for my mother who is on statin drugs ( read what Dr. Mercola has to say about that- [...]). I am slowly trying to wean her off a lot of the drugs that were prescribed but not really needed- this was proven by a doctor I took her for a 2nd opinion. The Dr said the initial Dr. should have recommended Ubiquinol when prescribing all the meds which included cholesterol and high blood pressure (of which she is normal on each- not due to the pills since she forgets to take them anyway). Makes me wonder how much money most doctors make basically forcing these drugs on people. In any case, this Ubiquinol has given her so much energy and a clearer mind- she is like a different person. The drugs she was taking had made her sluggish, irritable, forgetful, and many other issues. I am happy to have found this high quality no unnecessary filler product. I highly recommend all of Dr. Mercola's products.

Great product but Dr. Mercola has steered me now to use his COQ-10 instead.

Previously I rated this product with a one star because of the condition of the product when i received it. That was not appropriate for this product is well worth the money. I wanted to correct my wrong for those who are looking for a healthy supplement. My blood work improved significantly after taking this product.

We lack it - obvious after taking it. Unlike most supplements, you KNOW its working. 10:10 Results better with this Dr M than any other brand!

I bought this product for my husband. His cholesterol levels are high and he has been on statins for a while. He has back problems but since the last couple of years he has been complaining about muscle pain on his back, different from his usual back pain. I finally decided to start doing some research about natural ways to reduce cholesterol and then I realized about the bad side effects from statins, including muscle pain. I don't know why ANY of our PCP's ever told us about the importance of taking CoQ10 as well, because statins deplete your CoQ10 enzyme! Anyhow, according to holistic doctors, Ubiquinol is a better way to absorb the CoQ10, faster, so I decided to invest in better quality and clean products. It's very disappointing to read labels nowadays and I realize how much garbage they include in our food/supplements, with additional fillers we don't need. It is too soon to tell if it's working or not but I was very disappointed when I saw the capsules. None of them are completely full. Is this normal? For that price, I hope you are getting what you pay for.
