I bought this bag for a quick trip to Chicago (from San Diego) when I was going to be travelling with my 1 year old and my 90 year old grandfather. I needed a way to lug it through the airport with all the rest of our stuff and still be able to tend to the baby. This bag was great. Our Britax car seat fit with enough room to put it in comfortably. The straps were easily adjustable, and the handle on the front was convenient when I just needed to lift it up and move it a foot or two. The drawstring was very long so that was easy to get the bag all the way open. The only thing that would have made this bag even better is if they could figure out how to put wheels and a pulling handle on it. When we picked up the car seat there was some dirt/black marks on the bag so it was nice to know they were on the bag instead of on the actual car seat.

This is fine, and did the job. However, I really wish I had read more about it before buying it. We borrowed one from a friend before buying our own. The borrowed car seat bag had a zipper, and that was amazing. I didn't read closely enough to notice that this one just has strings to draw it closed. Not very convenient, especially if you plan to add anything else to the bag before closing. Parents traveling with children have enough stress in the airport without the addition of the gate check travel bag. It is okay (durable fabric, correct size, etc) , and yet we will probably end up purchasing a different bag with a zipper.

We bought this blue car seat bag and also red one for our stroller from a different manufacturer (J.L. Childress Gate Check Bag For Standard and Double Strollers, Red). After our first flight the other one already had holes but this one was fine. We also checked it as baggage in one leg of our journey and it was completely fine. One thing to note is that it is rather large, but we still have the first phase of car seat, so this should continue to work as we need a bigger car seat. I am actually curious to try and see if this will fit our stroller (baby jogger), I will post an update when I try. Oh, and the backpack straps are SO handy! It's hard enough traveling with a kid, you don't have enough hands to get through the gate.

Purchased two of these bags based off of reviews. The quality is fine, and the backpack straps are a nice option, but these bags will NOT close completely at the top with the draw string. This leaves a gaping hole which I am not happy with. If they closed tightly and completely, I'd give this product 5 stars. But since there's no way to get it to cinch closed completely, I'm returning them and giving the review 1 star. Do not buy this if you are expecting to be able to fully close and contain your car seat and items in this bag. My assumption is the attached zippered compartment, which the bag folds back into, is getting in the way of the draw string - not allowing you to fully cinch tight.

I liked this bag on the first trip. It does not close well at the top. it leaves a big gap, so if you happen to have left an item on the car seat, it may easily fall while it is transported and moved by airport personnel and on the belts. But this is the not our biggest complain. After 3 or 4 trips, the string broke, and we could not use the bag anymore. Now I am trying to contact customer service to get a refund or a replacement since this has a lifetime warranty and a money back guarantee, but I cannot find any contact number or anything for them.

Did the trick. I need something to pack my grandson's car seat. This was awesome. It was easy to carry. We used the infant type car seat, If you are using one of the ones that grow with children and is heavy I would shop for something with wheels. This stood up to the traveling well. Great for the price.

Overall, product is good and material is sturdy. Not very happy with string that closes the bag though-since the carseats are usually heavy when the bag tilts the clasp that holds the string gives off easily and the bag opens. It'll probably be costlier to put some kind of zipper instead but I would much prefer it, to be honest.

This fit our Britax Boulevard Click N Go seat perfectly with room to spare. The material held up to the vigor of airline travel superbly.The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the opening is closed via drawstring. That leaves a small opening in the top of the bag that could allow for goodness knows what to leak into your bag and onto the car seat. If it had a flap that could be snapped over that opening, it was be a big improvement.
