Cooltto Wide Brim Sun Hats with Waterproof Breathable for Fishing, Hiking, Camping，for Men Women Kids

I ran the the 10 mile broad street run in Philadelphia. Weather hasn’t been great in past events and ran was forecasted for the entire weekend. I ordered the hat Friday night, it arrived on Saturday and I ran with it on Sunday. Ran protection was great, leaned a little forward and the brim kept the rain off my face, chest and shoulders. This hat is big. Sure I looked funny but I was dry. The only other comparable hat would be an umbrella hat and who wants to wear that? I’ll repurpose to hide from the sun when cutting the grass.

I’m my line of work we spend a lot of time working in environments that don’t have shade. My Excavator spends all day operating equipment that doesn’t always have a roof over them. He gets beat up pretty bad by the sun and heat. On top of that, he’s bald headed and gets sunburnt easily. I started searching through Amazon for a hat that would be fitting for his situation. I checked out a lot of hats and came across this one. I’ll be honest, I thought the brim was ridiculously large and thought it would be a funny joke for him to wear it while the rest of us teased him throughout the day.The day I gave him the hat he instantly put it on and loved it. The first job he had a chance to wear it, it was raining lightly all day. That dang hat kept him dry through most of the day. So that was a plus I didn’t factor in when buying. Since then it’s been in the 85-90 degree range with very bright sunlight. He says it keeps him cool through the day and likes the option to remove the cover over the crown of the hat that reveals a netted mesh to allow heat to escape. All in all, it’s a very good hat for a person who works in all day heat and sunshine without the benefit of having some shade. I would compare it to a hybrid of a boonie hat and a small sombrero. The military green is a nice touch to divert your coworkers from making fun of the big a** brim! All joking aside, this hat would be great for fishing, mowing the yard, and riding an open cab tractor in the fields. Don’t let the large brim detour you from purchasing. I believe you will appreciate it when the weather is rough and the day is long. I know my Buddy sure does.Best of luck to you all and I hope my little review is in some way helpful.

I like the material, which is light, but thick enough to feel study, and doesn't blow off easy. Most important is the hat band is big enough to put shade over back of neck, and most of the head. For fashion, I like that you can button up either side, so it looks like an Australian style hat. The top has nice air vents to keep your head cooler, and to let air flow through.My only gripe is the hat comes with the nylon top very wrinkled, but I relaxed the fabric some using a steamer.

Shipped folded in half, so it will take a while for it to return to its original shape. Otherwise, a perfect fit and excellent sun protection.

Purchased this wide brim hat about 3 weeks ago. Delivered on time. Didn't like the packaging nor the way the hat was made. The post office folded the cardboard type hat in half as was the distributor packaging. My wife thought it was a blow up type hat. It's very flimsy and big brimmed. Fits and looks funny. I'm not sure I'd want others to buy this thing....

The good: -Price point for the hat is great for what it is. -The size is good, my hat size is 8 3/4 plus I have long hair. Like most hats when you're big headed it takes some time to stretch but didn't take too long now it fits snug, but not too snug. - The size of the brim is really nice and what I was looking for, it's not ridiculously large, however wide enough to keep your face completely shaded and the back of your neck. Have also had other people comment on the same thing, so it's not just my opinion.The not so good: -Like other reviews said it came folded, it's large though so I'm not sure how you would ship it effectively without doing so. I don't think it's enough to ruin it. I've had it for two summers and it still has a nice shape. I'm sure there is a way to iron it out if you look on you tube.Over all I say 5 stars for the price, size and material. I have yet to use it profusely but it has seemed to weather one Colorado summer well so far. And keeps the sunscreen off my face.

Compre 3 sobreros de diferente color, funcionan muy bien para cubrirse del sol ahora que hace mucho calor. Los recomiendo ampliamente; también son facil de guardar.

It is the biggest hat I could find. I’m out in the sun a lot so wanted a great big massive hat and this is definitely one of those. I have a biggish head and it is a little bit of a tight fit but it means it never blows off. Overall this has saved my face and head from peeling off which is a good thing.

Love love love this hat. I received it next day and got to use it while in my pool. It fits very well on my head and it really protects my head, face and neck from the sun. It's light and breathable. I've read reviews that it came folded with 4 creases, mine was folded in half only, therefore 2 creases. I'm pretty sure that after a few uses and a wash, and flat dry it, should solve this problem. It's well made and good quality!!! Love the color too (the khaki is like a beige color). Highly recommend it!!!
