Byrd Mill 18th Century Spoon Bread Mix 10 oz.

I love this spoonbread. It tastes like my mother's. She made hers from scratch. I tweaked it a little by adding sugar so it would not be bland but a delightful southern spoonbread. I also added melted butter to dish before putting the mixture into my dish. Simply wonderful when it comes out of the oven. Pure joy.

This was more bread like outside and slightly sticky inside. I was looking more for a pudding consistency to eat with a spoon. Taste is ok just wasn't what I was looking for.

Very good taste and consistency. The best spoon bread mix that I know of.
