This solves my problem of having my remote near the pool
I used this to encase my remote by the pool. It works well. You basically drop the remote in a bag and then heat the bag with a lighter to seal and close it around the remote. Looks like a shrink wrapped remote when you are done. Remote buttons all work normally and it withstands full submersion in the pool. I have dropped it in the water but not left it under for more than a few seconds. All good.

Good purchase
Perfect. Functions as described. Size fits long remotes.

It works as described, but...
The bags are good for almost any remote you might have for a tv or sound system built in the last 20+ years. While I was pretty sure the bags would be that crunchy plastic you see on Easter baskets or grocery store flowers. I hoped it would be a bit closer to something softer or maybe silicone like. The heat shrink works great and fits all my remotes well. The downside is you end up with corners of hard plastic with sharp/pointy edges after the shrink (tried multiple methods or sealing and still rough corners). And getting the air out is near impossible. You end up with a balloon around your remote and some of the buttons can't be pressed (a plus if you are just storing things). Or you put a pin hole in the plastic and the seal is tight, but maybe too tight after you get the full heat shrink smooth. One remote of mine has a frequently used button 2 in from the side and it is hard to use now.You get a lot of bags and it might be trial and error to find the balance if you plan to use the item you shrink wrapped. Its a good product and serves the purpose I wanted it for. Just wish they could come up with a softer less crunchy plastic.Hair dryer is all you need to shrink the plastic. I also sealed the ends with a vacuum sealer. These bags can't be vacuum sealed though, too smooth.

Great shrink wraps.
I love this shrink wrap. I have used it for multiple things. I used it for my remotes because my kids tend to make it sticky with honey and syrup. This has helped with that and I just have to wipe it. I also used some for my products before shipping them to customers. Great size and fits well. Protects and easy to use.

Easy to use…
These worked great..I had a Xumo remote I kept dropping in the floor and the back would come off and several buttons would come off as well..dropped it once and it stopped working so had to get another from company..couldn’t find a silicone cover to fit it but found these dandy little things..put remote in it and used the hairdryer to shrink it and I’ve dropped the remote many times since the shrink wrap and the back and buttons have stayed on..recommend for a smaller remote..probably wouldn’t work on a large one

Good but a little small.
Great deal you get 100, but remember just don't measure width and length. Take into account the depth of remote. I just squeezed my remote in and it works fine and shrink wraps fine ,not to much heat be careful.I'd say order a size up for easier fit and installation.

Protect Apple Remote Buttons!
We had an Apple Siri Remote that got some crud under the main button. It was impossible to clean and made the remote almost useless (would do a swipe when pressing the main button- very annoying). We replaced the remote and immediately covered it with one of these covers. These remotes are so expensive, so keeping them functioning is worth the extra work.By itself, the plastic does not look great. But we have a silicone cover on it as well and it’s much better. You can see the waviness of the plastic on the buttons- it’s like that all over the remote. Maybe it was a skill issue, but either way, the extra cover makes it look fine.The plastic does not stop the touch sensitivity of the main button. It may slightly reduce the sensitivity, but honestly that is better for this remote.

Who has a sealer iron??Hair dryer not useful;
1. Who has a hot sealer iron laying around to seal one end, huh??? 2.You have to have the exact fit (R) for a half way decent job. The larger bag worked for the larger remote. The smaller remote (L) was a wrinkly mess. It showed various different size remotes but one size does not fit all. You really need to buy the exact smaller sizes to get it to shrink down enough. The hair dryer did the job but barely. I did NOT want to subject my remote to a heat gun even for a brief moment. Not worth the purchase. It'll take awhile to use up 98 more on just that one size remote.
