I have 2 of these. One for home and the other for travel. I have curly shoulders-length hair that is very fragile. I’ve tried so many straightening irons and they’ve trashed my hair. I finally bit the billet and spent more money on a nicer, higher quality flat iron and it was worth every penny. Finally, an iron the has adjustable temperatures in 5 degree increments. It heats very quickly and it is very easy to adjust the temperature. Yes, my hair is still fragile but it looks and feels much more healthy than it used to with other irons

Searched for a budget friendly flat iron that could deal with thick, frizzy damaged hair. This is a great purchase! It heats enough to flatten out those crazy fly away hairs after drying your hair. I use it the day after shampooing as well to reshape "bed head" hair. Happy that I found something that works well without breaking the budget! Look good for less!!

Worst flat iron I’ve ever used. The on/off switch and heat controls are placed on the handle exactly where you grip to use. Basically everyone you use it you are flowering the heat temperature while using. You can’t move your hand up to avoid this because you will be too close to the heated plates and burn your hands. Been trying to get around this but it’s useless and now I can’t return. It’s past the deadline!

Hmmm, tbh it does what it needs to It heats up quickly and my hair is pretty smooth The swivel cord is also nice But here are my cons 1. The hardware feels pretty cheap or like it just passed the QC test, it’s not bad just not what I expected 2. It’s almost impossible to change the temperature after it’s been on for a while, I have to turn it off and then turn it on and chnage the heat but it’s not really bad 3. I personally would prefer a longer cord 4. I think because the material is cheap, the hardware opposite the plates gets really hot, and closer to the lever anchor has the buttons so it’s a weird clasp All in all, it’s a pretty good flat iron but if you’re looking for max functionality and comfort, this isn’t for you.

I love sleek attractive look of this infinitipro by conair; the color and overall modern design as well as digital features are all pros in my book. BUT — I get alot of hair snagging and breakage of random strands with this unit whereas my older basic cheaper dark color entry-level Conair hair straightener that cost me about one third the price and has zero fancy features gives me professional reliable sleek results with the same technique and leaves me with zero hair pulling and snags as I straighten each pass of hair section by section. Bottom line, I definitely love the Conair brand and recommend a straightener from the company, just watch those reviews on any units you’re looking at to steer clear of this particular model and any others that might have whatever ceramic plate issue that catches and snags hair strands and you’ll find a great unit at a fantastic price. Take a chance and save yourself some money on a nice inexpensive conair straightener with positive reviews and no snagging heat-plates because I’ve paid upwards of three hun for a big pro brand unit that literally worked the same as my other cheaper Conair unit.
