I LOVE this set. Vibrant, beautiful, easy to work with using small and large brushes. Finicky with dip pens, but I've adapted to just work more slowly than I would with a more viscous ink. The Dr. Ph. Martin's customer service was beyond excellent when I had a question regarding the consistency of the green. Couldn't be happier!!

beautifulncolorss I use with watercoloring

I have been combining ink, watercolors, and whatever else I have on hand. One thing I love is pigment rich colors and a little bit of shine. These work great and are easy to use.

I bought these inks specifically to add some fun shimmer to my art journaling. They are so versatile... I have added to watercolor and to acrylic, mixing with enough water to make the paint move on the page. The colors are beautifully blendable with each other as well. They are not removable when dry and I make sure to thoroughly clean brush and palette when I'm finished painting. I've used them over modeling paste and gesso on various types of paper. They are sooo much fun! And my journal and artwork are extra special wherever I've used them.

Only one of these didn't easily mix up with shaking, and even that one mixed well enough to look fantastic. Not all of them have the same consistency, so I use different nibs with some than others and I find all of them work well with the right pen. I am just learning calligraphy and these inks help me stay excited and get used to how different inks work and feel differently from each other. Don't judge the ink based on my inexpertly done writing practices!!! I took off a star only because they take effort to keep mixed up while using and you have to be extra careful with cleaning your nibs so they don't gum things up. All in all, I recommend these to anyone who wants some sparkle and is willing to play around with different nibs and pens to figure out what works best for them.

Super love these going to use with paintings and on rock painting too due to durability. When they arrives they had most of the sparkle settled to the backs I just turned them over and walla let good old gravity due it’s thing! Then shake vigorously for 30 to 60 secs

This product definitely did not disappoint. The colors are exquisite and do not smear once they are dry. I purchased this to use for painting. I love it.

Contact the manufacturer. They will send you some beads to put in the bottles that will make the pigments blend. Also, be leery of old product. THe first set I got was clumpy and gross. I returned those for a new set and they were much more fluid.

Ich bin total begeistert von den wunderschönen Farben, überall ist ein wunderschöner zarter Schimmer. Bei manchen Farben sitzen die Pigmente etwas fest und man muss sie erst lösen und dann verrühren, am besten mit einem dünnen Stil von einem Pinsel oder mit einer dünnen Stricknadel. Das Bild entsprIcht nicht den Farben. Die Beschreibung stimmt jedoch. Anbei ein Foto, so wie ich es bekommen habe.

I am back for another set. These inks are just stunning, when I am paining watercolour I love to pick out a section to encourage a closer look and these inks shimmer beautifully but never overtake the composition. They are lightfast and permanent.
