Great picture, no hassles
Worked great. No hassle getting it set up, the image quality was crystal clear, and no flickering or weird artifacts while playing. Definitely worth the price to dust off the og xbox and play some old fave's.

Excellent picture quality!
The difference between this and the av cables that came with the system cables is staggering! There’s still obviously a lot of aliasing and some noise, but such was console gaming 20 years ago. This is just what I wanted, an adapter that displays exactly what the Xbox outputs without messing with the image. This pic is of chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay. The game does 480p max, so I have the display type setting in the console dashboard set to normal and the tv display (zoom in my tv menu, it’s an older element 50” 1080p led tv) to normal. And it does 4:3! I was stoked about this! I was worried that it would force it to stretch the image, and it thankfully doesn’t. If I change the console display type setting to widescreen, then it will display hd 480p in 16:9. That looks good too, but I prefer 4:3 for old games like this personally.Overall this exceeded my expectations and makes my games look and sound amazing! Good colors, no lag, and worked perfectly right out of the box. Well worth the money, especially given that you can buy 2 or 3 of these for the price of a used monster comp cable. But it, you won’t regret it!

Works Real Good
This is the third one of this type adapter I ordered and tried on my original Xbox which is connected to my Samsung 42" 2k TV. The first one I bought was made by Pound, the second one made by Laboen. The Pound had a decent picture but some type of strange interference on the screen which was NOT due to the cable. The Pound when connected to my Sony 4k TV resulted in no picture. The second one by Laboen had a decent picture with no interference but required the supplied power adapter to operate. When plugged into my Sony 4k TV, I got a picture blinking in and out. When I loaded a game that changed the output to 720p, the picture stayed and looked good. This one I have now made by Kaico does not require a power adapter and had an excellent picture on my Samsung 2k but the same issue, I plugged it into my Sony 4k and got the same blinking in and out picture until I loaded a game that changed the resolution to 720p, then the picture stayed and looked great. The company says it works with all TV's which is not true. My Sony Bravia 4k (XBR-65Z9D) proves that point. However displayed on my Samsung 42" 2kTV, this product gave a picture more detailed and sharp then the rest of them without having to have a separate power supply. I highly recommend this product if using it on a 2k TV but a 4k TV, that may be hit and miss.

Good, but some artifacting
The good:-Works perfectly in 480i mode-Working 480p (didn’t test higher res)-Very clean installation, just plug it in to the XBOX, no extra power cord needed-Is purely a converter and not an upscaler - your TV will do the scaling from 480i/p up to your panel resolution-No noticeable lag - Playing Halo feels normal. Far better than my TV’s composite processing-Audio: sounds great, stereo has right and left channels channels correct, not backwards. Haven’t tested the Optical output. The bad:-There is noticeable visual artifacting in 480p mode. See the attached picture - it manifests as thin faint grey diagonal lines that move while the screen is in use. They are hardly noticeable in some scenarios but are quite visible in dark scenes. It’s not horrible, and it’s still fun to play, but I’m taking a star off.My Framemeister gives better image quality, and also has a bunch of options for adjusting the signal, including scanlines for 480p, whereas this thing has no settings to adjust.Compared to a real external converter/ scaler setup, this dongle is much cheaper and uses less space and wires for setup, at the expense of a bit of video quality.

Works exactly like it says !!!
Honestly went through a bunch of options trying to get this to work on my current HD TVs. This one worked perfectly with very minimal lag or loss of detail. Super impressed and love the functionality.

The picture quality is DEFINITELY improved…
I wasn’t expecting Xbox 360 clarity, just an improvement over the component/composite cables. It definitely delivers that plus more! I have an older TV from 2011 so I dont how the output results would differ on a 4K model. I also hooked it up to my 1080p projector and the picture was clean. It’s light years better than using the composite cables, which makes the picture blurry, muddy and hard to keep your eyes on because of all the ghosting. $40 well spent, if you don’t want to pay $150-$400 for an upscaler the Kaico is 100% worth it. Not as sharp and smooth as the textures in emulation but it’s damn close.

HDMI Adapter
It didn’t work at all. So I don’t know if it’s my system or the product itself so I don’t even know how to rate this .
