Kaico Original Xbox HDMI Adapter, Xbox2HDMI with Toslink Optical Audio

It works great. No usb that you have to plug in either. The optical connection is a nice bonus. I was using a component cable connection that also had s video and rca connections along with optical (not the original xbox branded) and the color was sometimes off. This hdmi connection cleans up the mess of cables, color is coming in great, tested the optical connected to the speaker you see and hear. Worth it being older consoles are more fun and newer TVs are dropping the older RCA connections. Ended up getting dreamcast and ps2 hdmi adapters from Kaico as well and all work. Haven't pulled trigger for the gamecub yet. But all my stuff can be played with hdmi now. Quality feels like a solid build. Tried to load halo, but limited to 1 video

I bought this because I found my old Xbox in storage it had been a while since I played any retro consoles so I wasn't expecting the footage to be so blurry when I I tried playing split screen on Halo. When looking for solutions (because there's no why I'm buying a crt) there was a cable I eyed but it was nearly double the price of this. I gotta say it's night and day on my tv I can actually see people from afar and read text that would normally be a blurry mess on split screen. It is important to note that a majority of the games are still playing on 480p quality (since that's max some games can do check on the back of your game case) but since they were originally on composite it made it a blurry mess this product sharpens the image plus enables the full screen option and 1080i option for games that support it

Awesome adapter it looks great even with a 50 inch tv. Does exactly what it says it should and to an excellent quality!

This is the third one of this type adapter I ordered and tried on my original Xbox which is connected to my Samsung 42" 2k TV. The first one I bought was made by Pound, the second one made by Laboen. The Pound had a decent picture but some type of strange interference on the screen which was NOT due to the cable. The Pound when connected to my Sony 4k TV resulted in no picture. The second one by Laboen had a decent picture with no interference but required the supplied power adapter to operate. When plugged into my Sony 4k TV, I got a picture blinking in and out. When I loaded a game that changed the output to 720p, the picture stayed and looked good. This one I have now made by Kaico does not require a power adapter and had an excellent picture on my Samsung 2k but the same issue, I plugged it into my Sony 4k and got the same blinking in and out picture until I loaded a game that changed the resolution to 720p, then the picture stayed and looked great. The company says it works with all TV's which is not true. My Sony Bravia 4k (XBR-65Z9D) proves that point. However displayed on my Samsung 42" 2kTV, this product gave a picture more detailed and sharp then the rest of them without having to have a separate power supply. I highly recommend this product if using it on a 2k TV but a 4k TV, that may be hit and miss.

I got this converter to try as the component to hdmi adapter I had was absolutely terrible. It had tons of very noticeable noise in the image, random moving lines all over the screen as well as audio issues. This cable is a lot better. The image is a lot cleaner with significantly less noise with this converter. One thing I did notice however is when it’s in 480i there are some static lines in the image (could be how my tv handles interlaced content) and there is a slight green tint only noticeable on black backgrounds. Setting the xbox to 480p or higher gets rid of the lines and makes the image have less of a green tint but it does still have some noise in the image but it’s only noticeable when you are very close to the tv. This converter probably isn’t the absolute best option out there but for what it is its definitely a decent converter that’s quick and easy to setup and use and doesn’t require any external power and I’d say it’s plenty good enough.

Works as intended. Dont cheap out, you get what you pay for! Also depends on your monitor/TV setup too!

I loved that this product did NOT require any power connection; while it clearly says it does not improve the picture quality (and I know this should be the case) I originally had this hooked up directly into a component input on the TV itself but the input no longer worked so hence this adapter. In any case after hooking it up (easily done) even my wife said "that's a much better picture than before!!" She does not usually notice things like that in the "electronic world" but is correct on this one. I have installed my own home theater so I am no stranger to electronics & their quirks, problems, & overall quality. However like so many things your results may differ but I rate this product as excellent overall. Also FYI the seller seems to really care about his business & the quality of customer service that he/she provides. A great experience from start to finish!

Spent hours trying to output 5.1 surround sound to my receiver, which is advertised by this adapter. I checked cables, receiver settings, Xbox settings, XBMC, etc., turns out that feature was a lie and it won't actually output AC3 passthrough, so no surround sound is possible. Besides that, yes this will output to HDMI fine with stereo audio, if that's all you care about. However, you will get several frames of lag and an occasional black screen. It's not a great experience, when games get demanding. After doing some research, aside from the expensive Stellar mod upgrade, I would highly recommend the Electron Shepherd ElectronXout. It solves all of these issues and is around the same cost

Habe zuvor andere Varianten für die Xbox Classic probiert und endlich ein Gerät gefunden was wirklich sehr gute Bild Qualität bietet. Hier hat man (in meinen Fall auf 55 Zoll tv) ein sehr gutes Bild ohne Kontrast reiche Störungen , oder das es zu dunkel ist oder das Bild regelrecht hinter hängt .. mit den kaico Konverter ist schlicht und einfach perfekt

今まで初代XBOXで遊ぶときはUSBminiB端子で給電しながら使う安い変換器を使用していましたが、こちらの変換器に交換したら驚くほど画質が良くなりました。 私は鉄騎(最高画質480p)と鉄騎対戦(最高画質720p)しかプレイしておりませんが、どちらとも今まで滲んで見えなかった部分が見えるようになったり照準が鮮明に見えるようになりました。(写真違う画面で申し訳ない) もし私のように安い変換器を使っているのであれば強くオススメしたいです! 少々お高いですが...払う価値があります!! 光デジタルは使っていないので分かりません...

Empleado en una xbox original placa 1.4 (suelen dar problemas con estos adaptadores) y va perfecto de momento. Un acierto.
