So Good I Convinced All My Friends to Buy It. Waterproof & Amazing Quality! 📸💦
I’ve inspired all my friends to get this camera and for good reason. This camera is seriously amazing from top to bottom. The quality is super clear and crisp, whether you’re taking photos or videos, and it captures every detail perfectly. One of my favorite features is that it’s waterproof, which makes it perfect for trips, beach days, pool days, and any kind of adventure without having to worry about damage. It’s easy to use, durable, and feels high-quality in your hands. Every time I use it, someone asks what camera it is, and after seeing the results, they want one too. If you’re looking for a reliable, fun, and versatile camera that actually delivers, this one is 100% worth it.

Great point-and-shoot underwater camera.
I wanted an easy-to-use camera to capture family vacation in the Bahamas, including snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in a water park. This camera performed surprisingly well taking descent photos in a variety of conditions over a week of intense use. Hardware: Self-contained waterproof camera rather than a traditional camera with a water proof case. Reasonable LCD although not the highest resolution. I was pleasantly surprised that digital images actually were crisper when viewing later on a phone or computer as opposed to on the camera screen. Ease of use: Take some time to get to know how to change modes from underwater to action shots before diving into the ocean. The menus are not easy to navigate on the fly if you are not prepared. Also the screen can be a bit hard to see underwater. Particularly while swimming, I took lots of photos and went back later to see how well I got the shot as opposed to looking at the image on the LCD. Photo quality: Attached a few photos of different lighting/photography conditions. For the most part, I was going for underwater photos. On sunny days, these water photos had good quality and the camera did well with autofocus. Lower light conditions in seaweed and rain gave rather muted murky photos. I had not expected to use the camera as much above water and was pleasantly surprised that this worked well in action mode for water slides and tubing. I did not take videos (save one of sharks) though there is the capability in the camera menus. Battery: Here is my one complaint! The battery that came with the camera has a small capacity 800 mAh. I used the small-capacity 800 mAh battery on the first day, and the camera seemed sluggish and slow to respond underwater. I had purchased a 1200 mAh battery with charger mostly to avoid having to charge the camera with a cable rather than charging the batteries (personal preference): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMWHFMDX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 . These large-capacity 1200 mAh batteries seemed to make all the difference being able to take a full day of photos and having a better camera response time. Either low or high capacity battery, don't expect this to respond quickly like a DSLR. The Kodak is much more like early days of point and shoot digital cameras in an underwater version.

Exactly what I wanted – pictures are so good!
I was choosing between this and the PIXPRO FZ-55, and I’m so happy I went with this one 🧡 The pictures are so fire, especially with the flash on! I originally got it to bring to Burning Man – known for alkaline dust and sandy and it survived everything. It’s also safe to use underwater! It has a wi-fi mode for easy photo transfer to your phone. The app isn’t the best, but the trick is to turn airplane mode on first and then connect to the camera – worked perfectly that way. There are different modes and filters, but I mostly stick to auto or program AE and it does the job just fine. If you don’t have a big budget for something like a Canon G7X, this is a great travel-friendly alternative. Definitely recommend!

Terrible Camera, please read my review.
This Kodak Camera is a terrible value. There is a reason 11% of the reviews are currently 1-star ratings. The image quality is objectively terrible. It has the image quality of the original iPhone, maybe even worse! It's not rugged; the plastic quality is absolutely terrible. This must have cost $15-$50 to produce. I've been ripped off. The LCD screen quality is poor. The first red flag is the very limited microSD card capacity at 32GB. This is a major red flag. It's 2026, this $160 camera should at least hold 128GB but honestly it should be holding 256GB. It's not 2016. Its use of Micro USB also shows the extreme cost-cutting done to get this product to market. This product is so bad that I am in fact never purchasing another Kodak product. The KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 digital camera is sincerely the worst camera I've used in my entire life. KODAK is using their brand name to mislead people who are unfamiliar with electronics/technology. I'm never buying a KODAK product again. The design is appealing. I love the look, the battery system works well and it is waterproof. It does capture images, but if you are willing to spend $160 on a "rugged" camera, please invest a bit more. I did considerable research to find an alternative. A camera that actually meets Kodak's false promises. In my search I discovered that you need to spend around $550 to get a rugged camera which can outclass and outperform your phone's camera. I purchased the OM System TG-7, it's fantastic. I can't think of any scenario where the KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 would be a good purchase. There are a number of Chinese cameras at a similar price that outperform this if money is your constraint.

What I Wish I Knew
So much fun. I take it on all of my trips. It’s hard to beat it for the price point and features. Now the downsides is the camera is very bulky and it may not initially come off as a down side, but after a while it begins to become annoying. I am a rather large guy and like to carry the camera in my pocket, however it bulges so much that it becomes insanely uncomfortable, to the point where I’ll just leave it. I also wish that it was usb c, which would make it that much more convenient. The WiFi connections isn’t always the best either, and rarely works flawlessly. I think they did a good job, however I would love to see a new version of this hit the markets.

No doubt a good compact camera for traveling/ summer
If you’re thinking about getting this camera get it right now!!!!! Worth every penny takes those higher quality photos if that’s what your looking for, takes a micro sd, and it takes a normal usb to charge witch beats taking the battery out every single time to charge it like i would with my other cameras. It also has Wifi so i’m able to access my photos through an app, so far so good. Only complaint is that there was a weird hair in my package but that’s just me being picky

Couldn’t get WiFi connection to work
I bought this camera for snorkeling in Hawaii. I charged the batteries ahead of time and made sure I could shoot pictures. But, I did not attempt to set up the WiFi connection to my phone. On the fly, I could not get it to connect and could not share photos in real time. The error seems to be caused by the firmware needing to be updated. The problem is you can’t do that without a PC. The picture quality was not great. But AI editing fixed the hazy colors. Also it was really hard to hold still enough- most still images were blurry. Video quality was better and capturing still from videos worked ok. So be sure to test connection to phone in advance and update firmware.

Calidad
Excelente compra, toma fotos espectaculares y no es un producto caro. Lo único que aún no sé cómo usar es el vídeo: siempre tiene un ruido extraño de fondo.
