Love it
This is exactly as it is described. It is hefty to hold but not too heavy. It looks great wherever we display it. What the photos don’t show clearly is that the armour worn by the soldiers is coloured with red, gold and silver detail. It draws the eye. The wood pattern, shading and carvings on the horse are intricate. I love it.This horse symbolises so much. Imagine the fear, sacrifice, patience, endurance, ingenuity, misery, heart-ache, joy, the “never give up” attitude, and the entire “journey” experienced for decade/s by these soldiers and their leaders. Ah, the people of Greece have given us such an amazing history, mythology and art to admire and wonder over!

Wow so incredibly well made!
The previous reviewers were right on the $$$. It is so well made! I had to get it! So proud of my heritage! It's very stunning in person and quite heavy and so intricately detailed! If you love Ancient Greece and its wars you got to get it! It's one of the famous wars in that era.

Wicked cool
Much nicer looking in person than the stock image shows, a deep golden bronze color that really picks up the light. Sturdy and solid, seems extremely well made. Just around 10'' tall. Beautiful detail, especially the markings on the body of the horse. The mane and face is superbly sculpted. Overall very cool looking statue with a lot of character.
