Good for Lightweight Backpacking
Had a 3 day hut trip above 10K ft during a period where days were in the 50s and nights were below freezing, which means ICE and variable trail conditions. I own the heavier duty microspikes, but didn't want to carry those in addition to the snowshoes and 25 lb pack I was also carrying. Took a chance on these since they were light and pretty cheap price-wise and they worked out great! We had a number of tricky spots at lower elevation where the road or trail was almost complete ice. I was the only one with smaller traction device outside of snowshoes and was able to navigate those areas without slipping or falling (unlike some of my companions!) Also had to cross bare patches of dirt and rock and these held up - no spikes missing. Would they be my first choice on a 10 mile hike with all snow and ice? No - but for shoulder conditions and as a lightweight option to supplement other activities, these were perfect.

These are awesome!
I did an initial test run through the neighborhood (on solid ice) and I never slipped once! I have now had these for two years now and they are amazing! I only use them in icy conditions. I have never broken a single spike - for the record, I weight 220 pounds so my weight plus the force when running can give you an idea at how well they hold up. They can be tricky taking them on and off of shoes, so my wife and I both have a separate pair of shoes just for these and we just leave them on. Be sure to get the proper size and make sure you put them on correctly. Really put them to the test. You will be surprised at how well they work.

Good product.
Great even in water on top of ice. I can stride confidently and get done what I need to do outdoors in Alaska in all icy situations I’ve encountered. Has not accidentally come off while trekking in deep snow. These are slightly more taxing to put on than other styles but would prefer that over them coming off unintentionally. They are easy to remove when needed. I like that the spikes are not massive and are still easy to walk in on hard surfaces like concrete or wooden steps. I like that replacement spikes are included although in over a decade with this brand (2 separate pairs) have not had to replace any. Only reason for removing a star is because in my semi truck I can not drive and wear these. I have to remove them before taking off. I jump in and out often so taking them off and on every time is not ideal. There aren't many styles that are comfortable to wear while I drive my big rig so while this is a minor annoyance, it would not prevent me from purchasing again. I have succeeded to wear this brand in a different style meant for regular shoes instead of boots.

Good Quality, Long Lasting Rubber, Great Fit, Non-Slip on Snow
These men’s ice cleats were perfect in the snow and icy weather conditions. The Lrg/X-Lrg was a perfect fit for a Size 11W boot. Made out of heavy duty rubber and the cleats held up pretty well, no problems. The front and back fit snug and tight on the boot so that it doesn’t come loose or fall off, although extra cleats are provided. Reliable, durable, good value. Highly recommend.

Great Product - Especially for Old Geezers in Cold Climates
I've used a pair of this brand and style for over a decade. Bought a pair for each of my winter boots to replace the pair that finally failed after those years of service. Unlike the coil-type grippers, these work on hard, glare ice. The traction's incredible and the studs wear very well. You get some spare spikes, but I never needed to replace those on my old ones. They're a bit of a bear to stretch on the first time, but they won't come off even if you're a power walker of occasional jogger. Get these if you live in the Northern tier.

Works well, but size runs small
These traction aids for ice and hard packed snow work well, if you can get them to stay on your shoes. I bought the "LRG-XLG" size, which I assumed would fit over a size 12 shoe. They are actually too small for my shoes, and are very hard to get on my shoes, and tend to slip off. Putting them on is tricky too, since they are essentially a large and powerful mesh of rubber bands with 6 spikes sticking out. When putting them on, you have to be careful where they are pointed, in case they slip off your shoe heel and go flying across the room. This product size would probably work well with a men's size 9, 10, or 11 shoe, or equivalent in a woman's shoe. A similar design made for larger shoes , and redesigned to stay on shoes, would be a better choice for me.

No need to ever slip and slide again on ice
I found that these were very easy to slip onto the bottom of my sneakers and boots. I’ve used them three times so far and you’d never know I have them on my feet. I wiped them with a warm rag when I come in so that the salt doesn’t eat away at the rubber and I am particularly impressed that the company gives you extra studs in the event a few of them break. This is the first year that I was confident in walking on ice while walking my dog after two knee replacements and a bad ankle. The last thing I need is a fall and I’m going to buy a second pair just to have for next year to go with the new boots that I also bought. I would highly recommend these to anyone who’s afraid of slipping on ice no pulling no squirming. Just put the front over the front of your sneaker or boot pull and put the back over the back of your sneaker or boot and they are secure. I highly recommend purchasing these!

We couldn't have done without them
These were so useful on our trip to Northern Norway. Without them on, people were slipping and even falling over on the compacted ice. We could walk with confidence in our grippers. You have you take them off when you go into buildings. They pull over the bottom of your boot. Once you get the hang of putting the toe end on first and then pulling towards the heal, they are reasonably easy to get on. To take them off, you just pull down from the heal. A brilliant purchase and not expensive either. This product comes with 2 spare spikes.

Great product! Positive experience!
Amazing product! Saved our butts as well as our egos when walking in ice! So easy to put on and take off, and super light and roll up small when not wearing them! Would 100% recommend! Must buy for all who prefer to remain vertical when walking on icy tracks! 😂
