UCO Mosquito Repellent Candles - 15 Hour Long Burning, 9-pack

I hammock camp, and my candle lantern is a constant companion. These citronella candles work well to keep biting bugs at bay inside my tarp at night, and provide ample ambient light when needed. I get well over a full night's burn on a single candle and use the remaining nub of wax as a fire starter.

I keep these in the car for the winter time in case of an emergency

Decent candles

These smell like they will do the trick. I bought them for my preps and have them put away but the smell is strong. They are hefty and not lightweight.

I burn candles in two UCO Candeliers for ambiance. The citronella candles in the order that I received (20 pack) didn't feed straight in the individual candle feed tubes/holders. About halfway through the burn cycle the feed-spring/plate assembly in the tubes began to tilt. As a result the candle began to shave off wax residue, which began to accumulate outside the witness ports of the candle tubes. Each candle stopped feeding up the tube after about 3/4 of the candle had burned, leaving behind 1/4 of the candle unburned. This MAY be a problem only with the batch that I received.

Make sure you get the lamp and candle set

I just don't get it. I have 3 of the lantern's, they came with a white candle. Every one of them dripped down into the lantern makin it a mess. Took a long time to get the wax out of the lantern. Bought these candles and have not had any problems or repeats of that problem. Candle burns all the way down to out and not even a drop of wax inside the lantern. Use the original candle on a stump or just throw it away and get these or the bees wax ones.
