Expensive, sophisticated technology
My husband had a heart attack four years ago and regularly checks his cardiac status. Although he has a larger product, he was impressed with this tiny device. It's lightweight and portable, built to medical-grade and easy to use. There are plenty of wires and at first it's a little overwhelming. Pulse rates can be read via a finger and ECG can be recorded directly on the body. However, there is a shortcut, using hands, which speeds everything up. One can also store readings to monitor progress. The item is app-like in appearance and very small. It can be used without prior medical knowledge. The only gripe I have is the price on Amazon. This item is considerably cheaper on Wellue's website and for comparable models. It's a quality item and on the cutting edge of technology - just a bit pricey.

Wellue Checkme Lite Plus Heart Monitor, Portable Bluetooth Heart Health Tracker, Wireless Detection
This is a tiny device that shocked me how small it was. It's 9cm x 6cm x 1.3cm. Tiny. It comes with a very nice box. Instructions are well made and easy to follow. Comes with all sorts of cables and monitors but I didn't use them. The device has finger places for all the tests I did. So easy to use. I added a few screen shots and a video of what it can do and does. I'm impressed with it and how easy it is to use. I'm just not sure about the price. I've never got anything like this before so can't compare it against anything else. It might be great value I'm not sure. I have not tried connecting it to my OC or my Phone. Thats for the next few days. The instructions for it seem pretty straight forward. I'll give this tiny device a good 5-5 as it does a really good job.

Well it works and great way of keep track of heart. Easy to use, managed via a USB cable or Bluetooth wireless connection device and excellent price, I definitely would recommend.

Vital Bit of Kit
These days, it's genuinely very useful to have a heart monitor at home, whether you're a doctor or not. This piece is portable, lightweight, medical-grade and easy to use. The box alone comes with all sorts of wires and cables for things like checking your pulse via a finger, and ECG recording directly to the body. However, with this, you can check your pulse and heartrate simply with merely your hands, and that's amazingly useful and quick. You can log these results, see if they're normal for your body, and more. As expected, there's loads of little things that this device can do, and they all work very well. Reassuring to know I'm healthy and my pulse/heartrate is perfectly normal. Still can't believe the technology such a small thing can hold. If you need something like this about the house - and it's always useful, I suppose - or work in a medical field, I certainly recommend it.

Health Aid - reassuring but no idea if it’s accurate or not?
First things first, I’m not a Dr not do I have or claim to have any medical knowledge. I am 43 years old and got this device as at 45 my mum had a heart attack so I started to think I should keep an eye on myself. The unit is much smaller than I thought and fits comfortably in the palm of my hand (as you can see from one of my pictures, it’s just a little bigger than a VW Car Key). There is an app you can download which effectively records your stats (it’s pretty basic but does what it needs to) and the unit can be used on its own (it has an SpO2 sensor on one corner and then two metal sensors that make contact with your hands to take the measurements) but is also supplied with loads of cables and add-ons which I can only assume increase the accuracy of the unit. I have yet to use all of the cables as to be honest, they look overly complicated and I got this as a simple aid to health but if you are needing to accurately measure your vital statistics etc, I am sure the cabled accessories would make the unit more accurate - but for now I’m happy with the simple approach! The blood pressure attachment apparently needs to be calibrated and the instruction manual suggests this needs to be done by a doctor (I can’t imagine any GP’s being happy to do this as it would take some time and would also suggest they endorse the unit which I don’t think they would do). That said, I’m sure the calibration could be done at home with a standard blood pressure monitor - just might take a bit of time to do! The display shows your heart rhythm and you can do a daily checkup which captures all the relevant data and gives you a smiley face if you’re ok (for those of you who are interested, I’m fine, thanks for asking!). The small video I added is of a daily check - it’s a bit of a weird angle but gives you an idea of the process and the outcome! The unit seems really well made but I can’t get my head around the fact that it’s a small handheld device and whilst it is reassuring that it suggests I’m ok, it certainly wouldn’t replace a trip to the Dr’s if I had some concerns! Now to get onto the price, the unit costs a decent amount of money but I guess, what doesn’t these days! If it gives peace of mind it has to be worth it and also, if it detects an issue early, that you can then evidence to your Dr/Hospital, it “might” save your life so it has to be money well spent! I’d be interested to get an opinion from a Dr about its accuracy as I must admit I am sceptical - but I guess these days people have watched that make similar claims and with all the add-ons , this is surely more accurate than a wrist watch? If I had to be honest, for the amount of money this unit costs, whilst I would imagine it would be far more accurate than I wrist watch, I would probably spend the money on an Apple Watch - but that’s just me! If you need to keep an eye on your health and want a bit of kit to help you with that, I would recommend this unit but would also recommend you take it with you to a Dr’s appointment to get their opinion also! All in all, good bit of kit, seems to do what I claims and says I’m healthy so I’ll take that!

Disappointing - inaccurate. Not to be trusted.
Firstly, at the time of writing, this product is VASTLY cheaper bought directly from the company. It annoys me that there was such a huge difference. I only noticed this because I’d accessed the website in the hope of getting more information about the device. I’ve used this to check my blood oxygen levels so it’s a very expensive oximeter really. When it’s measuring you can see your heart rate traced on the screen. I don’t trust the BP measurement however because I have a real monitor (same as my GP uses) which gives very different results and, because it seems gimmicky, I would not recommend this, or trust it. For this reason I haven’t bothered trying the ECG straps. The instructions are to use a “proper” BP monitor to “set” this device. Since I did this, my BP has always remained at the same figure, clearly this is inaccurate. Additionally, it only offers a systolic reading (the top figure) so it’s not even trying to be compatible with the info required by your doctor.

Man sollte Ergebnisse kritisch sehen.
