The reason I purchased this watch is the reliability. I met someone who had one 14yrs and never had to buy a battery for it!!!!!! She was wearing it and I saw it with my own eyes, and it was still going strong on year 15!!!!!! It was also a Seiko you cannot beat the quality of this watch and my wife loves it!!!!!. She was tired of having a timepiece that only lasted a year or two. She had several solar watches and all are bulit with obselense in mind. She is thrilled with this watch. It is beautiful and practical easy to read with looking stylish at the same time. Great Service and fast delivery......If you are using jewelry stores you are getting ripped off. You cannot beat Amazon.com for all your purchases!

I used to think Seiko was a reputable brand, but the quality of the movement did not satisfy me. Also, not related to the inner workings, the date and month were too small for my spouse to see. I bought an iWatch and it works well and although larger than she would have liked, she go used to it within a day. I did not return the Seiko as I had already disposed of the box and packaging.

I am so disappointed in this watch. Yes, it is beautiful to look at, but even if you are active and walk several miles a day, this is not enough for the automatic movement to wind the watch. I was given a Seiko 5 several years ago it it is reasonably accurate and has enough reserve power that I can wear another watch for a day and switch to the old Seiko 5 without having to reset the time and wind it. This new one must be manually wound daily.

So far my wife loves the watch. It was very difficult taking out links. Some of the links would not allow the part that clips them together to be removed without force, and causing some damage to the remaining links. Others came out easily.Dave

Looks and works great

It looks nice but very poor in performance. It's not working.The time is delayed and I had to reset but still not working. The second hand, goes on and off.. It's frustrating..I'm sorry I just express my feeling about this item.
