Kaplan GED Test Premier 2016 with 2 Practice Tests (Online, Book, Videos & Mobile) (Kaplan Test Prep)

Not what I had expected

With the help of this massive study-guide, the GED Ready tests, the free educator's materials (sample essays, short responses and in-depth scoring) found on the educator section of the GED website, and the free Khan Academy math, I scored no less than a 182 on every part of the GED in only a weeks worth of study and two or years of previous traditional high schooling! I was so impressed with the quality and comprehensiveness of the material, I promptly ordered the KAPLAN ACT and SAT PREMIER guides as well. Though other people's results may vary from mine, this book played a large role in helping me to strive for the highest score I could possibly receive in only a week's time. Using the GED ready test as a pre-test, I managed to score around 20 or so points higher on each section of the real test after taking the time to practice and study. I recommend everyone who determined to pass the GED to utilize every resource at their disposal and carefully manage their time. I think that overall this Kaplan study guide makes a great place to figure out what specific topics you should be focusing your time on in order to boost your score. I honestly enjoyed my time studying with this guide thanks to the clear, concise layout and painless navigation. The book encourages and helps students to design a customized study plan to help student's focus on the areas in need of greater development. It includes a wide multitude of practice problems, detailed explanations, lessons, and more of this same kind of content online for a grand whopping total of A LOT of content! For the price, this couldn’t have been much of a better deal for myself either. Since I discovered that this book is much more than just a compilation of 'cheap' tricks to artificially inflate your score along with other fluff such as excessive motivational pep-talk (my experience with some previous study guides), I have high expectations for the other Kaplan guides! I can’t wait to tackle my next standardized test challenge with Kaplan’s guide by my side! It's all about the content!

Hi. Let me tell u abt my experience with this book and taking the 2016 GED tests. I quit high school when I was 16. And after 3 years I finally worked up the encouragement to study and take my GED. So I bought this book and finally started studying. After abt 2 months of casually going through this book AND taking pretty detailed notes, I finished the book. And scheduled and took my 4 GED tests. I passed all 4 first try!!! Wish I hadn't waited 3 yrs after dropping out b4 I bought this book! For the most part this book gave me everything I needed to know. There were a few parts, especially on the math that I had to further study online like YouTube to understand. So there were a couple of parts it lacked in teaching me fully. But I couldn't have done t without this book! There's no way I could have! If you are about to study or take the GED test, let me tell you that if I can pass, you can pass! It's really not that bad if you study and immediately take the tests! Most of the 4 GED tests have like only 37 questions. They are just fairly hard and very time consuming. GOOD LUCK!

I've bought this book earlier this year around May. I live in the New England area and later found out that they have changed it to the HISET. Still works! Before going through this I didn't know much considering I haven't been in school for a few years. This whole program really refreshed my mind. Just this week, I've completed every subject with high scores, never failed! I was skeptical at first, but all the online videos and easy layout really helped.The only thing I have to critique, there's a few typos, mostly the page number for the answer sheet in the back. But it wasn't hard to find.Highly recommended, and if I may add a tip. Focus on one subject at a time for higher results. It'll take a little longer but worth it ! Pleasing results all the way

Bike is 2006 Honda CRF100F. This is the best petcock with cheapest price over OEM part I've ever found online. Everything is pretty much copy of the stock one except bolts are like 2 mm longer (check pic bellow). I didn't use the bolts but used the stock ones instead i know they fit just didn't want to use longer bolts.O ring is good fit, washers just like stock. And most important thing is no leaks!Middle mark is stop (no gas flowing or dripping), top one is on, and lower one is for res just like stock.Easy to install just don't over tighten the bolts and make sure equal torque on both bolts to prevent damaging o-ring that can cause gas leak. Hope it will last

I ordered this in October when I discovered I needed my GED (long story, not important). I am 57 years old and it has been a long time since high school. This book is fantastic! I have now finished all four tests and have my GED! I wrote in this order: Language Arts, Social, Science, and finally Math only this morning as Math is my least favorite subject. This book will absolutely help you study and pass. As far as the Math goes, if you do each topic in the book and have any questions, just google and there are a million videos to help you out!Go for it!!!

I home-school my children, and every year I like to test them against "The System" to see how they do. I own the 2014 edition of this book, for one of my kids. I bought this one for another of my kids, and it's the EXACT SAME book! If you already own a recent version that reflects the changes made in 2014, stick with it and don't buy new. That being said, if you need a GED test prep book, this is the one you want! It really pinpoints the student's strengths, and their areas that need work and improvement. I would highly recommend this Company's version over others, such as Steck-Vaughn, that I have tried, you do get results that you can see! Because it is the same, page for page, I give it 3 stars.

The book does not come with a DVD or anything like that, but it is very legible.Gaining access to additional features requires that you register the book on the website, which took me some time to figure out. There you will find all additional features.4/5 for being a bit cryptic with the features and the poor website design. The book itself is 5/5!

Would recommend for anyone going for their GED. I'm the dummy who bought the American version by accident instead of the Canadian version, but I was still able to use it for general subjects like English and Math.

for the Science and english it didn't help me much! the other two subjects social studies and mathematics i didn't take the test yet but i hope it will be more helpful than last time.Rachel

Amazing book. Way more detailed and course like than a previous book I had purchased. (Canadian GED for dummies). Will be using this in conjunction to my flash card studying this year. Yes it's pricey. But what do your value your education? Totally get this.
