Well made tarp...used for movie screen
Bought for a temporary movie screen. It is well made and sturdy. It seems like it could last a long while. The only thing for me is I have an an awkward yard where unable to hang off of anything and very little room for staking so had to get creative. I over estimated what size tarp to get as well. It is pretty big for the space for what I needed but that was my fault. We had to fold It a litte on the sides and under at the bottomto make it work. What I found is that the grommet holes do not line up if folded but it is not meant for that but to cover and tie things down. I am sure there is a better set up but we used what we had laying around. Ultimately, we had to use 4 6' Fence stakes, yes it was not beautiful but it worked. 2 fence stakes ea attached to one another for height and because that was the only thing we had that would fit where we needed them. We tied the top in ea side and anywhere we could on the side of the stakes..we used inexpensive plastic clamps we had from harbor freight where we could not secure as again the grommet hole placement make it difficult to tie on the stakes. They worked great. We staked to the ground with thin rope, cheap tent stakes and added 3 glow sticks tied to the rope so that no one would walk into them (small space) and encroached into the walkway. The whole thing took awhile to set up but now we can just simply pull up, roll up and slide under house for next year. I am sharing just in case someone else runs into the same dilemma with space and on budget of zero dollars. Wven if it is an awkward space it will work. Ideally we would have loved to just hang it or set it up much nicer but it just was not an option no room had to fit the stakes in between stones, ricks, plants etc We made it work with what we had. It was straight , sturdy even handled the wind. It is a great tarp. I would recommend if on a budget. We did end up buying a movie screen in the end and we love it. Not all is lost though, we might just use the tarp camping and host movie night there or use it for its intended purpose.

If you're in the market for a quality tarp, you found it.
We purchased a large assortment of tarps & accessories to use for tenting freshly poured concrete this winter. Many people believe that we don't pour concrete during the winter months and that is false. So long as you practice cold weather concrete methods, you won't have any issues. Typically, concrete blankets are used to cover and protect the concrete or ground from freezing. In certain scenarios though, tenting the area and containing heat is more favorable for us to work over a period of time. Over the years we've used every number of tarp and plastic concoction you could think of. Sometimes it worked well and other times it was a lesson learnt. As for the tarps, I have nothing bad to say about them. Overall it's a very well made tarp and exactly as described. We've used a couple on 2 different projects since we purchased them (12/16) and we're pleased with the results thus far. I opted for the white color so that it wasn't a complete eyesore on our customer's property, as it would be with brown, green or especially blue. Just make sure you buy a large enough tarp to cover your project and calculate extra to all sides depending on overhang needed. Also, I recommend using the tarp tape if connecting multiple tarps for extra insurance against wind and water. Tarp Tape TW-108 3-Inch Tarp Tape, White Securing the tarps is just as important as the quality of the tarp itself. I purchased a few different types of straps & anchors to make sure we had an assortment on hand. The ball/hook anchors work well when you have something to hook onto. TEKTON 6263 Adjustable Ball Anchor/Hook Tarp Bungee Cord, 12-Piece The super snap connectors work well if you need to nail or screw the tarp down. Byers 15-Piece Super Snaps Box Thanks for your time reading this review and I hope it was helpful, as I base every purchase I make off other reviewers before me.

Solid First Impression
I was looking for high quality, tough, strong, rugged tarps to go over the aging 20'x8' COSTCO shelters I have in the back yard. I bought a couple of these to try out. So far, I am pleased with them. The spacing between grommets is fine for my use and in general I like lots of grommets for flexibility of tie-down line placement and they have a decent space between grommet and edge of the tarp. They are thick and appear and feel tough. I am looking for a few years of life out of them so this isn't the final analysis as I have had them in place only 4 months. I use snow rakes to remove snow and this gives a certain amount of wear and tear which your cheap blue tarps fall apart under. The coating is slick as well which is good for snow removal. So far this winter these are doing well and heading towards 5 star in a couple of years if they bear up well under UV - not that Southeast Alaska is a good place to judge UV resistance - it isn't except as an indicator on the negative side - if something deteriorates quickly under our UV regime it'll probably fall apart in days in the Southwest!

useful
All right, so listen up cause I'm gonna tell ya about this wicked good tarp from Kotap. Now, I ain't no expert on tarps or nothin', but let me tell ya, this one is the real deal. First off, this tarp is heavy-duty, ya know what I mean? It's made with a superior weave that makes it extra strong and durable. It's 8-mil thick, so you know it's gonna last ya a good long while. And let me tell ya, this tarp is waterproof, so it's gonna keep all your stuff nice and dry, no matter what kind of crazy weather comes your way. Now, I don't know about you, but I like a tarp that's versatile. And this one from Kotap is just that. You can use it for all sorts of things – covering up your boat, protecting your firewood, or even building a makeshift shelter in case of, you know, the end of the world or something. And let me tell ya, this tarp is big – 8 x 20 feet big, to be exact. So you're gonna have plenty of coverage for whatever you need to protect. Plus, it comes in a nice, clean white color that'll look real sharp no matter where you use it. So there ya have it, folks. If you're lookin' for a top-notch tarp that's gonna stand up to whatever Mother Nature throws at ya, then this one from Kotap is the way to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Great quality tarp for the price
Was harder than expected to find a decent quality white tarp that wasn't $70 or more $ for a 16x18 size. We'really using this tarp on the ground of our greenhouse to help reflect sunlight up into the plants and thus far it has done it's job well. -it's sturdy for sure. We've moved heavy concrete tiles back and forth over it many times and walk on it daily and no sign of tears or weak spots. The grommets on the sides have all stayed in place -the tarp will stain. Don't expect to be able to keep it clean unless you can rinse it off with a hose after every use. -while the tarp is a decent thickness it is not heavy duty. In order to use it as ground cover we layered old tarps under it. In short I got a good quality tarp at a big size for 30% cheaper than what the other options were and it was exactly as described in size, color, etc..

Not perfect!
Great quality but alas it was under 8-ft in width. I thought it would work and have installed it but if it were 6-9 inches wider it would be perfect. Too bad it wasn’t 9-ft x 20-ft. None the less it is great quality.

Good quality and long-lasting
Have bought several of these in varying sizes the past few years and they don't disappoint. Decent quality weight and thickness. Stitching is good. Was happy to be able to find decent quality tarps in white. Had issue with one corner grommet coming off but otherwise pretty secure and solid after seasons of use. Used to help winterize a side deck with lattice and didn't want it to be dark. Monitored pricing and purchased when on sale. Have stood the test of time and would recommend and buy again.

Fair quality tarp for a good price.
Bought 6 of these tarps to enclose our screened porch for the winter - installation was easy, all tarps were of decent quality - only downfall is the grommets are pretty cheap and easily bent/broken. The tarps have held up very well against the wind so far - only time will tell how well they'll hold up against a harsh Canadian winter.
