When I started using this litter it was a swap from Cats Best which was tracking everywhere. I was delighted with its performance, very little tracked and it clumped beautifully. The odour control was excellent and it flushed no bother. You could not tell that I had 2 10y/o Birman cats. To my dismay it seems to have gone the same way as all the rest, great to start then a gradual deterioration. With the Lifelong litter, it still clumps nicely and flushed but omg the stench as you pass the litter tray and that’s after scooping. I’ve had to start using Simple litter freshener to spray the litter as soon as iyrits been used and after I’ve scooped. Without that the smell of cat wee is horrid. Needless to say I’m looking for a replacement.

Awful! If I could give 0 stars, I would! I got this as the biodegradable, flushable wood litter I used to get isn't available any more. This smells so bad upon opening the bag, very strong corn smell (I hate sweetcorn even to eat). Most of the bag was just dust. The smell almost immediately after my cat's peed is so strong, like it's been left for days/weeks. It clumps together and stays clumped when it's put in the toilet so it's not flushable as stated. When you've been cleaning out the litter every day, it's really difficult to tell the difference between fresh and clean litter. I was changing the trays twice a week and just from the smell alone as it's been a very hot summer. And that is including a full enclosed tray with vents. My cat also didn't like it. She was always unsure of the litter and would need me to follow her to the trays and give her emotional support to use it. She'd be insistent that I go with her and encourage her, being very vocal, using her urgency meow. She'd always walk by the trays, have a sniff and then scratch all over the floor to cover it up cos it smells so bad. I have 1 cat and she uses 2 trays, one of pee and one for poo. She'll happily poo in this litter but doesn't like to pee on it. Which meant she resorted to peeing on my wooden anti slip mat in the bathroom and my fluffy rug so it's totally destroyed and soaked through the laminate so I need to rip up the whole floor and replace it all as I cannot get rid of the urine smell, even after loads of cleaning with enzymes. She's used to using trays, toilets and going outside so it must be really bad litter as she's certainly no princess! I've managed to get a hold of another biodegradable, flushable litter and so far, having mixed it in with this horrible stuff she's not screaming at me to take her to the toilet, she's not scratching the floors around the trays constantly and my flat doesn't reek of pungent, dizzyingly smelly litter. I'll never choose any other litter than wood at this point. And wood at least is a lot more hygienic too. I just needed this in a pinch. -10/10. Do not recommend.

The first time I brought this brand, I thought I’d be a loyal customer for life. I genuinely couldn’t shut up about how amazing this litter was, even to my non cat owning friends lol. But seriously - it was incredible. The way it clumped was like concrete. So easy to clean. To the point I was genuinely excited to clean my cats litter tray loool seriously. When I reordered it, I obviously expected the same. But when I opened the new bag I immediately knew it was different. For a start, it was far more orange than the first batch. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, I have to report that this latest bag is absolute trash. No where near as absorbent as it previously was. It’s like a totally different product. I’m so genuinely gutted and disappointed because I thought I’d found my litter loyalty. Such a shame. They must have changed the recipe. Now, the supermarket cheapest litter is just as good ☹️

I tried this because I need a new cat litter and want to be more sustainable. - I have had cats for 40+ years - I always use clumping cat litter (I don't see the point in non-clumping, and the times I tried them, it always ended disgusting) - I have two big cats at the moment (Maine Coon size) - I have two big trays, which are cleaned EVERY day Pros: - light weight Cons: - too slow to soak up the liquid, which pools at the bottom of the tray and causes a sludge - the cat litter becomes moist (from the environment, from the pee) - the pieces are very big so I could not properly sieve them out and threw away more than necessary - for the first time in quite some time, I got pee- and poop-protesting from my cats, meaning they peed and pooped everywhere around the cat litter trays as well - the smell after a couple of days in use was getting extremely weird. Musty dusty mixed with the ammonia smell. Really weird! - the cat litter was dragged all over my living room from the kitchen (have to have the trays there, unfortunately), as it's too light and gets carried away in their paws - for having to throw away more as it has big chunks, the price is too expensive This was one of the worst experiences I had with a cat litter.

I'm trying to be more eco friendly with my choices for cat litter so I gave this a go as it's at a decent price but honestly it's not worth a penny! Not only did it not absorb little wees well, (the bottom of the litter box was wet after a day with 2 little kittens using it) but it did absolutely nothing to mask any smells. For the first time in 3 years of having cats, we went out and came home to the whole house smelling of cat wee! To add to the fact it doesn't really do it's job, the bigger pieces were very tempting for the kittens and they ate some which then made them have very stinky diarrhoea for 3 days! The second half of the bag went straight into the (green waste) bin and I'm never touching this stuff again.

I would definitely not recommend this at all. When litter is used it turns into this sludge that my cat couldn't help step on, smear all over his feet and smoosh it around the house, then once it dries it dries into this weird solid lump that can be broken up into crumbs like dry cake mixture. So, so bizarre and cat hates it. I only bought this as my usual wood pellets were out of stock and my, it's bad. Annoyed I have to find a use for the rest of the bag. Hard to clean, must be changed after 1 use (I usually change at the end of the day but this has me watching in case i have to do it several times) not very absorbent and not very odour catching.

The unspoilt cat litter does not shake through the sifter. Unlike other clumping litters where you can shake of unspoiled litter & bag the clumps, this litter is too big & i have quite big holes on this sifter. The picture shows regular cat litter (also bought from Amazon & very good) & the big chunks are the natural litter that I was really excited about using. It doesn't work. It won't sift through. Also odour control is NOT there. You defintely know when they've pooped even if you're upstairs in bed. The only positive I can say is that it doesn't stick to their paws...but as they are kittens it would be like boulders attached to your feet, so they shake it all off. I most definitely do NOT recommend this cat litter. Sadly. I really wanted it to work but hey ho.

This is the worst litter I tried. I read all the good reviews when I decided to buy it and honestly and don’t get how anyone can like this litter. Since the litter is made out of corn it has naturally earthy corn scent to it which you can definitely smell around the litter tray. After two weeks of using this litter it smelled awfully in the house of dirty litter tray even though we scoop out the trays daily. The litter become weird wet sand consistency a bit like in children’s sand pits and the clumps didn’t hold together. The ammonia smell is really bad. I think the clumps essentially fall apart which means the urine is not removed and that’s why the smell builds up. I have tried so many litters in the past and that’s by far the worst I tried so far

Unfortunately, the bag I purchased was infested with moth larvae. Of course, I didn't figure this out until after my house was infested with pantry moths. My first bag I ordered was completely fine, did the job. But now I will not be ordering it again because of the fear of this happening again.

Scrivo questa recensione dopo aver utilizzato questo prodotto per molto tempo. Volevo testarlo a fondo sul lungo periodo prima di esprimere un giudizio definitivo, e ora posso confermare l'ottima qualità di questa lettiera al mais a marchio "by Amazon" (ex Lifelong). PRO: * Efficacia costante: Anche dopo mesi di utilizzo, il potere agglomerante non perde colpi. Crea palla compatte facili da rimuovere. * Controllo degli odori duraturo: Neutralizza gli odori in modo eccellente e naturale, senza bisogno di profumazioni chimiche artificiali. * Smaltimento comodissimo: La comodità di poterla gettare nel WC a piccoli grumi (essendo 100% biodegradabile) sul lungo periodo fa davvero la differenza. * Resa economica: Avendola testata a lungo, posso dire che il sacco da 10L dura molto più rispetto alle classiche lettiere in argilla o bentonite, giustificando il prezzo. CONTRO: * Un po' di tracciamento: Come tutte le lettiere vegetali leggere, qualche granello esce dalla cassetta attaccato alle zampe, ma basta un tappetino per risolvere. Considerazioni finali: Dopo mesi di prove, posso dire che è diventata la mia scelta definitiva. Sicura per il gatto, ecologica per l'ambiente e comoda per me. Consigliatissima per chi cerca un prodotto affidabile nel tempo.

De loin la meilleure litière que j'ai tester depuis toujours ! Très peu de poussière, très absorbante et contrairement à d'autres moins de perte car elle forme des petits blocs au contact de l'urine, pas d'odeur et le must reste que comme les grains sont assez gros, j'arrête enfin d'en retrouver partout dans la maison car ils s'accrochent moins aux pattes de mon chat ! Je ne changerai plus de litière et resterai dorénavant sur celle là, je recommande

Staubt nicht ..Krümmelt nicht....ist sehr ergiebig... Das beste Katzenstreu was es auf dem Markt gibt!...Schon Jahren und meine Katzen lieben es weil sie schön scharren können... Ist regelmäßig im Angebot, super! Sehr empfehlungswert ..

The bag was completely sticky on the outside, and for my surprise it was full of maggots inside the bag, honestly disgusting. Thankfully I decided to check the contents of the bag before pouring into the litter box, otherwise I could be exposing my pets to the maggots, completely disgusting.
