NYC Deli Pickle 24oz

I love pickles. Grew up a couple of blocks from an authentic Jewish deli, with the big barrel full of pickles where I could choose my pickle which was weighed on a scale yet always cost around 25 cents. The deli closed and ever since I've been in search of these incredible delicacies. I've had good luck finding them at the Stage Deli in NYC and a couple other places. I was hopeful with these since they're billed as NYC Deli Pickle. They are definitely not the real deal. They taste like any other jar of pickles from the grocery store. (Sigh.) My search will continue.

Not the best! I love sour Brooklyn pickles but these contain sugar and are made with apple cider vinegar. Cant anyone make good full sour pickles anymore? Pickes with real BRINE and garlic and a true taste like when my grandpa took me to the Brooklyn deli's in the 70s and we'd pick sour pickles out of the barrel.

Good flavor, but the pickle was kind of mushy.

I was looking for real NYC sour pickles; not sure these are it, but they're very tasty with a slight hot aftertaste, thanks to the pepper flakes. I would buy them again. Very crisp and crunchy; hard to find in a pickle these days.

Sorry....Not A Big Fan Of Flavored/Pickles.I Prefer The Taste Of 'Plain-Whole/Midget-Dill-Pickles", "Bread and Butter Pickles" Or "Sweet-Dill Pickles" More !!

Delicious at room temperature out of the jar, right off the shelf, assuming they make it onto the shelf from the Amazon shipping container! Tastes like a Brooklyn deli in a jar, great snap, complex flavor.

These are soggy and aren't sour. How are they New York pickles?

I used to travel to NYC all the time and loved the deli pickles . this is very close to those deli pickles.
