Grips pretty well for skating. I got them for skating and I'm satisfied with how they feel. I would not recommended running in these for an extended amount of time or your ankles will hate you. I use them for everyday use as well like going to stores and outing. I do have to admit, they tear easily, but I keep buying them cause they are so useful.

Grippy and snug for skating plus high top helps protect and support my ankle. I find my foot really sticks to the board. Walking around in these, I find my feet feeling they need some heel support or arch support. I got them specifically for long boarding and I could not be more pleased with how they work for me for this purpose. I can certainly walk in them too but would not want to say, go on hike or long walk in these, but could go shopping or on a shorter excursion. They are next to my front door and I can slap em on and go for a quick ride out in the street easily or go find a parking lot to skate in. I’ve heard people get insole supports but don’t know if the super good fit I have now for skating would be compromised with that.

The shoes came on time and in perfect condition! I always get a little nervous seeing other reviews but I am happy with them :-)

Got these shoes for my daughter.. The only shoes she wears are vans. She loves them!

Vans...a classic! Great shoes! If you’re feet are a little wide make sure you order them wide! They are a very snug fit. That’s what makes them great for long borders. They protect your ankles and give you a great feel for your board! I ride an exway x1 riot! 30mph

Unas zapatillas de gran calidad. Muy resistentes al agua y proporcionan calor para el invierno, pero sin llegar a dejar sin transpirar al pie. De momento usadas un invierno y espero que me duren unos cuantos más.Actualizo: Las compré en 2018 y tras 2 inviernos (de mucha lluvia) siguen aguantando bien. Solamente se han roto un poco en la goma de los laterales, por la parte donde dobla la puntera del pie (me pasa con todos los zapatos).
