Light is good just the first time connectivity was difficult.

After using these for more than 6 months and having terrible experience with some other tuya white label rebrands, these have been a surprisingly good experience. These seem to be quality devices first of all, with good UI UX, hardware that hasn't broken within a week(like my wipro did twice), local control support, you don't even need to create an account to use the app if you wish so! Moreover, the developers seem to be quite responsive on reddit, frequently interacting with users and improving based on feedback and they keep on adding features via updates, like they added an (experimental?) Presence detection feature with two bulbs, matter over wifi support and so on, the app itself is quite practical with all the features one would need IMO. Best of all for me, it works with homeassistant without any hassle! Either via HA's wiz integration or matter support. And the cherry on top if everything fails at some point, they seem to be use regular esp32 c3 based modules, which means if things change in future, one could theoretically reflash them. Would really recommend these even if they cost a bit more than the others because it is worth it.

Rubbish packaging, and the bulb I received was completely defective, it wasn't even lighting up. I tried in 3 different sockets in different rooms and it wasn't lighting up. Wasn't even pairing. I opted for replacement and guess what even though it is available to purchase right now, the estimated replacement they show me is literally 1 month after. Now I have to wait 1 month just to get the right product after receiving defective.

The basic functionality of the smart bulb is fine. All the color presets work well and it seems to work as expected with google assistant too. The Phillips wiz app is not great, but still functional. The max brightness of the bulb won't quite match a similar non-smart bulb, but within acceptable range. I won't recommend reading under this light unless the brightness is near max to avoid eye strain. The Wi-Fi range is absolutely atrocious. It works well within 10-15 feet of the router but disconnects frequently and becomes impossible to setup at any farther distance. Even within that small range, occasionally, the bulb tends to disconnect itself from the network automatically and requires the whole setup routine again. Overall, I wouldn't rush into buying any new smart lights any time soon, especially this one.

The light connects via both Bluetooth and WiFi. I have Alexa and it works very well with Alexa. But sometimes it doesn't work well with Bluetooth. And it would have been better if the app interface was a little easier. Overall, it's okay for the price of 380.
