I have very dry eyes and was using Aquaphor in my eyes at night but I think it was to heavy because it left the underside of my eyes what appeared to be pimples , so I brought this product and it works really well, it’s does make me see blurry when I have it in my eyes but it doesn’t bother me as I use it only right before I go to sleep. It’s very moisturizing and does help with my dry eyes.

Great nighttime lubricant. Prevents waking up feeling like I have sand in my eyes or even unable to open my eyes at all. Wake up with very comfortable eyes and better vision. Took one star away because the first several times I opened it spewed uncontrollably several inches of ointment (normally only need about a rice size piece) wasting weeks of material.

Got the lasik surgery and doctor recommended this for nighttime use. Feels so alleviating to put on. Make sure to do everything before putting this on at night because you won’t really see afterward. This is not for daytime use. I have been using this product for about a year. No issues. Wash hands prior to using of course.

The first time I bought this, the tube was twice the size for what I paid. It is now barely the size of the first digit of my thumb; hard to squeeze, small amount. The product is excellent if you can get it out.

I use this in one of my dog's eyes daily. He doesn't produce tears in one eye, and this keeps his eye lubricated overnight very well. It also doesn't produce a film over his eye. Other products I have used always leave him with eye gunk, and this doesn't. So that's a real plus!!

I have dry eye disease and need supplemental eye ointment as part of my treatment plan. I put a small amount of this ointment into both of my eyes every night. Once I place the ointment into my eye, I find that the majority of the ointment ends up coming out of my eye when I blink. On the plus side, the ointment doesn't appear to be super greasy or leave a greasy film on my under eye when I wake up in the morning. For the ointment that does retain in my eye, I do feel that it is moisturizing in the morning, but eyes get dry and tired by the afternoon. When I was using my other eye ointment, I didn't have this problem. Additionally, the eye ointment just keeps coming out after I squeeze a little and when I put the cap on, there's a ring of ointment at the base of the cap. It feels like a lot is being wasted and I have never had this problem with any other brand of eye ointment. The eye ointment is effective and moisturizing to a certain extent. I will probably be switching back to the Bausch and Lomb eye ointment as I find that one more effective and overall better.
