Very readable
As my wife is a type 1 diabetic she needs to wear a pleasant looking necklace whenever she goes out. This fits the needed requirements. It is visible and readable without being gaudy. I has a useful lobster type clasp that is easy to fasten and unfasten.

This is sturdy, not bendable
My son is Type I and almost 12 years old. The dog tag styles either broke (had the adjustable knobby chains) and the tags bent. This is sturdy, not bendable, and he really likes it. I'd would be nice if it would come in other lengths, as its a little long, but he'd rather wear this than anything else.
