VIVO Steel Reinforcement Bracket Mount Plate for Thin, Glass, and Other Fragile Table Tops, Clamp Compatible with Most Monitor Stand C-Clamp Installations, Black, STAND-AC01R

This item was designed very well for the intended purpose of protecting my desk. Prior to realising I needed this item, I discovered my desk mounted microphone clamp had squeezed the desk too hard and had created a dip/some minor damage. This desk was from a notable blue & yellow European company and the way they make this desk is compressed board in a white thin casing so the pressure of a heavy item plus the moving of the microphone arm was applying pressure every time in use. This item has secured the area, displaced the precise pressure points etc and also makes the desk clamp look better almost like it is a grander piece of skit. Due to the limited desk space I cannot buy more for my key lights that are also clamped on the desk but luckily, for now, these items are not causing damage like the mic arm had done so. I feel confident in recommending this item to others.

This VIVO reinforcement plate is an absolute must-have if you use heavy monitor arms. It spreads the clamping force across a much wider surface area, completely protecting fragile wood, thin composite, or glass desks from cracking and denting. It made my entire dual-monitor setup feel rock-solid with zero flexing or wobbling when I type

Solid and well made and simple to fit. My desk space looks way more clean and it will help not damage the desk from standard monitor clamps :)

Great value for money, ideal fit and size for my flewxidesk E7, nice a sturdy with solid metal material and no wobble so very stable.

Perfect for the job.I have a ikea computer desk and my triple screen mount kept on leaning forward and squeezing the desktop as it wasn’t strong enough to support it.Bought this and now it’s perfect cannot recommend enough

Very strong, does exactly what it should. Had previous issues with monitor stands cutting into my desk but this has resolved that.

I have a thin desk, so needed something to help support the monitor arm I wanted to attach. It's very easy to install, seems to be of good quality and weight and looks pretty good. Would recommend.

absolute saver and very sturdy and price was very good

Very good, fast and they inform you what is going on with the package.

I have a sleek but thin glass-top desk (about 8mm thick) that I love for its modern look, but I was always nervous about mounting my dual-monitor arm. Regular C-clamp mounts put way too much pressure on one spot – I tried one once and it felt like the glass was flexing and ready to crack under the weight of my 27" monitors. After some research, I grabbed the VIVO Steel Reinforcement Bracket Mount Plate (STAND-AC01R in black), and it's been a total game-changer.Delivery was lightning fast – Prime delivered it in two days, well-packaged with no issues. For the price (super affordable), it's an absolute steal – way cheaper than replacing a cracked desk!Installation was straightforward: minimal assembly, just align the large steel plate (7.9” x 6.1”) on top with the bracket underneath, add the included anti-slip pad to protect the surface, and tighten your C-clamp. It fits most standard monitor arms perfectly. The all-steel construction feels incredibly sturdy, and it spreads the load across a much bigger area, eliminating that scary centralized stress. Now my heavy dual-monitor setup is rock-solid – no wobble, no flexing, and zero worries about damaging the glass. It's like insurance for fragile or thin tabletops.Compared to skipping this and just using a basic clamp (or those flimsy plastic alternatives from big box stores)? No way – this VIVO kit is pro-level support that makes everything feel secure and stable. If you have a glass, thin wood, or fragile desk and want to safely mount monitors, do yourself a favor and get this. Highly recommend – peace of mind is priceless!
