Very good case
I shopped for cases for a while and it was tough to find any that didn't have reviews mentioning a bad fit. A few of my co-workers have been using this case and have not had an issue, so I decided to follow suit. The case piece that goes onto the screen was a perfect fit, and the bottom piece was pretty close. The tabs in the middle fit perfectly, but the two tabs that are closest to me were tough to snap into place. There's an opening underneath the two troublesome tabs so I took a flat-head screwdriver and pried the case upwards to allow the tabs to snap into place. I didn't have an issue with the case coming off, even with 2/4 tabs out of place, but it mentally just bothered me knowing they weren't connected which led me to use the screwdriver. Regardless, i was able to get all tabs into place and have never had an issue with the case feeling loose or falling off. the other complaint i saw a lot in reviews for various cases was overheating... I have not seen any rise in temperature while using this case. I use iStat Pro to monitor my temps and have not seen any notable change in temperature from before and after using the case. It has been based solely on what i'm doing on the computer at that time. I really enjoy this case and would recommend it to anyone.

Best Case I've Tried... with a few niggles.
My wife has had an Incase Hardshell case for her Macbook pro for over a year, and she loves it. I decided to finally try one out. These are my observations: The case is incredibly durable. I have taken it to a field exercise (I am military) twice now and it has held up just fine. When I say "field" I don't mean sleeping in the mud, mind you... but flying there and back in a helicopter packed inside my rucksack with all my other kit, and it is no worse for the wear. The case does *not* seem to insulate heat very well... which is a good thing, and a bad thing. Good because that means my laptop isn't frying. Bad because that also means my lap *is* frying. This case also fits very snuggly on my laptop for the most part. The front lower portion does not have any clips, though, so it can wiggle a tad bit. However, the top fits as if it were glued on. Trust me, I've taken it off a couple of times and it is a real pain to get off. So, do I think this case is worth it? Absolutely. I can whole-heartedly recommend this product, especially for the price. Do your laptop a favor, and get one.

**almost** perfect
If you're shopping around and trying to compare this case with the Kuzy one that I returned. Let me tell you: this beats the Kuzy one by a mile in terms of the finish and smoothness of the edges. When I received this product, I was immediately wow'ed by how nicely the material felt in my hands. The rubberized finish felt very high-end and the edges are smooth. The case fit the Macbook just tight enough to stay on so removing it wasn't a chore and you don't have to worry about scratching your shiny macbook while doing it (I'm talking to you, Kuzy). Now the Con, the only one that led to my decision of returning it: the fit of the bottom panel was a bit off. The front portion of the bottom panel appeared to be a tiny bit smaller than my Macbook Pro so it seemed as if it had to stretch a bit to fit, leaving the top edge of my Macbook Pro's palm rest exposed by about 1 millimeter and the tabs there couldn't snap into position properly. Therefore, when the Macbook is closed, a shiny strip of aluminum surface of the MBP is exposed on the front half of each side of the laptop when the entire laptop should have been covered in black. The back half of the panel had no such issue. Apparently somebody didn't get the molding right when making the case. This was such a shame as I really loved anything else about this case. Perhaps this was just my luck. But I was expecting a named brand like Incase to have better manufacturing quality control than this. Once I noticed this defect, my eyes kept getting drawn to it. Had to return it and the search is back on.

Great case, but I got a defective product.
I have ordered this case and this case delivered ahead of schedule which was really pleasing. I take out the case of the packaging and see that it is warped. thinking it would be alright when on the computer, I put on the bottom half. It seems to be alright until i put on the top case and try to open my laptop. It doesn't even open past 90 degrees. If I put it on a flat surface it still snags nd I have to press bottom edge of the case to open it. the warped case was enough to keep the laptop from opening fully. the back off the case would hit the bottom edge of the screen keeping it from opening. it's seems like the case would protect the computer perfectly fine IF IT FIT! but aesthetically it is very pleasing to the eyes, especially the fact the apple sign shines through the case. Highly displeased with the fact that it doesn't work. UPDATE: I was able to return the case and i got one that wasn't defective. what others say is true. it draws prints like a magnet. It also attracts dust to the inside of the case very easily and it's hard to dust. I recommend getting a can of air to get rid of the dust before putting it on. installing was really simply this time since this one fit perfectly, but it still may take a little bit of time to take off(which is a good thing) But as far as protection goes, it is very great. The same goes for looks. I'm going to get a color change sticker so it shines through as red through the case. how awesome would that be. MUCH happier this time.

Abysmal quality
I was quite excited when I purchased this case for my RetinaBook. The price was great, the company is a well-known and reputable one, and the black plastic looks great. That's where the positives end, and the negatives start. Firstly, the case would not even fit properly around my MacBook. The top part fit alright, although snugly, and recently started to crack and split at the bottom left corner. The bottom part, however, does not fit well at all - it barely fits around the computer, and does not snap into place. I might have gotten a defective one, but it sure is crap.

This Case is Really Good!
So, I read some okay reviews and middle of the road reviews. This case is excellent. Coming from a Speck case, I thought for less than half the price, I would be disappointed. Not a chance. It is made really well. Fits perfectly. Looks great and was a pleasure to install (slip on). All the edges and insides of this case I received are smooth and again, fit perfectly. A few people mention that it is slippery, not as gabby as the Speck satin, and I agree, but I think I can live with that easily. It doesn't fall out of my hands! I think I paid $24.- shipped. This is a top quality case TOTALLY worth the price and more. Nice to know.

Glad this was my first choice;
This case is superior to other hardshell cases for this model of the 15" Retina MBP - for basically 3 main reasons in my experience (the computer was expensive enough that multiple cases were worth a try); 1) It isn't bulky, but is still has a good level of protection and strength. Thicker cases seem to only be thicker to give the impression that that by wasting more plastic more plastic, you will be more safe. That simply isn't the case. 2) It doesn't cause the computer's fans to kick in more often, etc. 3) Once snapped onto your computer, it stays put - no play, no annoying "reattachment" like others on the market. If you are careful (not stupid) it is easy to remove if you need to clean or for any other reason. This is my third Incase product, and I am just as happy!

Okay case, color is VERY misleading in the image shot
While the case is not bad, it looks nothing like it does in the pic. It's actually really translucent and to me looks like it's the color of urine. Because of it's size, I didn't pay to ship it and return it because I would just end up losing money. I might try to sell it on our local town classifieds (I'll leave out the urine color description, haha). I guess if you like dark, clear yellow, it'd be good for you but it's nothing like the bright and pretty photo in the image. I never even used it, it was just too ugly, and ended up purchasing a different case.
