PORTER-CABLE 20V MAX Power Tool Combo Kit, 6-Tool Cordless Power Tool Set with 2 Batteries and Charger (PCCK619L8)

My little brother does home improvement and when he saw this, he enthusiastically told me it was a good buy. Mind you, in his work, he prefers a different brand, but had decent experience with Porter Cable. Well, for me, this is perfect. I just "fix stuff" and don't do a lot of heavy construction, but with this package I got everything I need for most jobs. All tools are powerful and ergonomically designed. If they still offer this deal and you want to have a workshop in one purchase, this is it.

Purchased these in 2017. They are stored in my garage that fluctuates in temperature from below freezing to hot humid summers. The tools still work great today. These are not used daily but are used frequently.

This is my second cordless tool kit from porter cable. My first one was 18 volt and was stolen so i replaced it with this new 20 volt kit. I do construction everyday and for years my porter cable tools did just as well as others expensive dewalt and milwaulkee brands. The new 20 volt kit is great and would recommend getting an extra 4 amp battery to have for the jobsite for the recip saw or circular saw. I have seen a lot of reviews on here saying that porter cable wasnt up to daily pro use...I disagree. I do heavy commercial work daily and have even had some fellow workers envious of the light weight of my porter cable tools. Porter cable is made by the same company that makes the more expensive brand. Porter cable has got a great warranty and when you add the add on extended warranty that is available thru amazon vendors....well I am covered on these tools for five years.

I was happy with the whole set. However, I was disappointed that the batteries are not interchangeable they do not fit my other porter cable drill set. I bought it because I had a drill with the better charger but they don’t fit. Be careful when purchasing because they might not fit your existing set. I would have given it a 5 star. Other than that it seems like a nice tool bag set. I did a dry test on the tools they seem to work, I have not tested them on an actual job yet. Other than check the batteries and charger, I am hoping they perform as advertised.

Don't get me wrong. The headline is a play on words. Prior to buying this product I spent a long time debating which one of these kits to pick. Almost went with a few different expensive "Name" brands but at last minute chose this one instead. Now I am glad I made this choice. I am remodeling a house I just bought and am actually looking for things to repair or build so I can use these tools. Battery packs have surprised me in the usage I am getting out of them. Have had no problems at all and very pleased with their performance.

Love this powerful complete set. Premium quality, they look and feel great and most important perform like pro-quality power tools should. I've searched all over trying to find the most complete kit that's still at a decent price - IMO, this kit puts all the rest to shame, no comparison to others as what's provided at this price point. Warranty is also great and hopefully I'll get many years of use from this kit. Highly Recommend!

Most buyers might not know but this company is owned by a bigger name tool company. This tools are as good or better than most competitors. Very happy with this purchase!
