I’ve been using this mic since 2020 and What can I say Elgato know their stuff. The sleek look while giving amazing audio quality all while being a usb mic is impressive The mic comes feature rich with a touch to mute on top A 1/4 in Jack for audio monitoring (which can also be done in wave link software if you use wireless headphones) And a multifunctional dial that allows you to control the gain, monitor volume and cross fade between the mic and PC mix. The mic comes with a basic but robust stand but can also be mounted to most mic arms. What I believe sets this mic apart from the others is the wave link software that comes with it allowing you to split your PC audio into submixs. Each application can be set to a submix in windows audio settings ie discord to voice mix and chrome to browser. The ability to have both a normal output for yourself and a stream output makes this great for streamers allowing you full control of what you stream can hear as you can mute a submix for stream or for yourself great if you like listening to music but don’t wanna get DMCA strikes on your stream. The plug in support is also nice for the mic and you can add plug ins to each sub mix and mic individually. I would 100% recommend this mic for anyone wanting a great sounding mic out the box that only get better with the software that comes with it.

My main motivation for chosing the Wave:3 is a bit of an odd one... I wanted a USB microphone that was easy to universally mute, and the Wave:3 has a capacitive mute switch at the top of the microphone. I read up on the quality of the microphone, and as is commonly mentioned, it's quite light and plasticky feeling compared with other options, but once you have it on a boom arm (for instance) that's not anything you'd be concerned about. I've heard some quibbling over the aesthetics of the Wave:3 but I quite like the look. It's a rectangle, it has a knob and some lights, and I really don't mind at all. I think it looks pretty good, especially when you throw in the shock mount and pop filter. While I use a microphone heavily I don't do much streaming so I can't comment on Wavelink, although I have it installed and it seems to work just fine. I did experience some odd vocal distortation on an initial install of the software, but that cleared up after reinstalling -- not sure why. Microphone is clear, vocal quality is good. It has only one pattern (cardoid) but it's all you really need if you're going to be the only one talking into it. It would be nice if the body was metal like some of the other microphones I have, and if the cheaper Wave:1 had a capacitive mute button as well, but c'est la vie. If you don't need the mute, and aren't into streaming, there are cheaper options out there that probably sound bette, but I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Amazing sound and microphone quality, easy to set up and gets rid of background noise too which is great for streams and anyone in general , it’s worth the money too

I bought this to replace an old Blue Snowball microphone that was starting to show it's age. The Wave comes well packaged with everything you need to get right to recording. Install was quick and easy which I appreciated! The default microphone settings were fine but if you take advantage of the software you can get some really amazing results, I've been very happy with the quality.

I've had serval microphones before this including Blue Snowball,Siren X & a few others from razer which note i had to get replaced 3 times because the cable kept on breaking BUT this Wave 3 Sounds amazing and offers a great build Quality and Sounding Microphone for it's price which is currently only 109 Pound which is amazing if you are currently using a Blue Snowball or Yeti or maybe a worse one or a headset microphone and have spare money buy one of these you won't regret it Also from this being a amazing microphone you are also provided with a Sleek Application to control all your sound from each game/application you use I would recomend getting the Extention Rods though as the microphone is quite low down

La voce si sente in maniera chiara e pulita, è un microfono a condensatore di tipo cardioide, con gestione audio fino alla massima risoluzione di 24 bit a 96 kHz. Garantisce il monitoraggio della vostra voce in tempo reale tramite connessione con jack da 3.5 mm, integra un filtro anti-pop, tecnologia anti-clip e presenta un filtro che elimina le frequenze più basse. E' inoltre dotato di un software gratuito (scaricabile dal sito del produttore) che permette di interagire con un mixer su schermo, in grado di farci impostare diverse funzioni. Parliamo però di un programma non molto intuitivo, che richiederà diverso tempo prima di poterlo sfruttare come si deve. Il microfono si presenta con una base di metallo molto solida, una piccola asticella e il corpo del microfono che permette di regolarne l’angolazione. Ha una singola manopola in grado di gestire il volume del dispositivo e il volume che sentirete nelle cuffie. Inoltre, sulla parte superiore del microfono è presente un pulsante touch in grado di mutare il dispositivo velocemente. Anche se parliamo di un microfono USB, che quindi è pronto all'uso non appena collegato al PC, Elgato Wave 3 è in grado di eliminare in parte i suoi esterni, permettendo meno disturbi in fase di cattura della voce. Ovviamente non è una soppressione del rumore paragonabile a quella di un microfono XLR, ma rispetto ad altri prodotti e con l'aiuto del software è possibile ottenere buoni risultati. Uno dei difetti maggiori è la dimensione, consiglio di utilizzarlo con un'asta per averlo vicino alla bocca e con il suo Shock Mount (venduti a parte). Il prezzo non lo rende accessibile a tutti, ma la qualità del prodotto potrebbe valere la pena di investire su qualcosa di così performante.

Best economical mic on the market at the moment from a company that actually considers it's buyer-base. Extremely easy to set up (plug and play), good quality and appealing aesthetic. Good sound. You don't need the accessory products for basic chatting or gaming, however they're very useful and proper for a budget streaming, video, voiceover or podcast setup. It's also fairly small so it fits quite nicely in various setups.
