Would these work with the ps5 and samsung galaxy s21 ultra?

Mobius will work well with the PS5 via the USB cable  - do not use an analog cable plugged into the controller. But if you want low-latency wireless, please use our new Penrose - designed specifically for PS4 and PS5. Mobius was designed primarily for high-ed PC gamers.

Also will they work with the xbox series x?

For xBox X, please use our Penrose X low-latency gaming headset. However, Mobius will work via the analog audio cable connected to xBox X, but you won't get all the features.

No 7.1 on ps5 from usb. any way around this? otherwise this is really for pc only to get full potential.

This is a SONY PS5 problem. The PS5 does not output anything other than 2 channel audio from the USB port. However, if you go the PS5 settings you can enable Sony's "surround sound" mode that will give you a surround sound experience via 2 channels via USB. Sony may eventually have a firmware update to enable 5.1/7.1, but that is up to them; not us.

I don't know which Audeze Mobius you're comparing to, but the latest version with the V5 firmware adds a number of new features. Perhaps most importantly, it makes it much easier to update the firmware - now you can just use the companion Audeze HQ app for updates. With previous versions of the firmware, you had to do 2-3 steps and require a Windows machine. However,  ALL versions of Mobius headphones (any color) made since The Dawn Of Time can be upgraded to the V5 firmware. Some of the features we've added since the beginning are: ability to turn off 3D and/or head-tracking. Turn off surround sound. Remember your last settings during power-down. Updates to the preset EQs, and many others. Also, we have updated the HQ app along the way, so make certain you have the latest version of this as well.
