RubisSwiss Cross Classic Slant Tweezers 1K101

I have 3 pairs of this tweezer. They come in various colors, but they all are the same tweezer. I bought my first red tweezer over 9 years ago. I mail it out to be sharpened by the company about every 3 - 4 years. Meantime, since I like the gold color, I got the gold one while my red one was out being sharpened. Again, it is the same tweezer, except for the color. I gave 4 stars for value simply because it is the most expensive tweezer out there, and in some cases, the gold is a few dollars higher in price. Without naming names, let me say I have tried all the popular ones, the ones that others have given good reviews on, etc. Let me say that this tweezer is the most efficient because of the angle, the sharpness and thin shape of the tips, the angle of the tips and the grip is amazing. I just bought another red one, and I absolutely love the ease of tweezing my eyebrows. It really helps to use a mirror that amplifies the view. You can find a 4-5 inch mirror that has a suction cup on the back of it and attach it to your mirror, whether stationary or portable mirror. I use a 20x mirror, and it makes for very easy hair removal with this tweezer.

Yep these things are surgical grade and can grab even the finest hairs! I am shocked how well they work BUT 2 weeks in and something changed and they just stopped working. I am not sure what happened at all! I returned them and ordered another pair to see if the same thing happens.

Accuracy and quality have always been the Swiss’s strong suit. These tweezers are superb at gripping. Love them.

Really nice quality. Expensive but works good. Not like cheap tweezers that look like tweezers but do not work. they make great sizzors too.

I have exclusively bought a variety of rubis tweezers for 15years and the red pair has always been my favourite. This new pair works well but is so sharp at the top that it often cuts the hair rather than plucking it. Am not as impressed. Plus carrier package came opened (not sealed).

So they're tweezers. You'd think what does it matter if it's a $1 or $30 tool? Well, the answer for me is that this is a once in a lifetime or once in a very long time purchase and having a precision, solid, nice looking, well manufactured tool that works perfectly vs. an almost good, almost usable cheap pair where the touch points almost line up is worth every penny of the price difference. If you use tweezers regularly for any kind of precision work do yourself a favor and go for quality vs. the aggravation of a cheap pair. If you just need something to flip hot dogs you can probably get away with the $1 set.

I’m always looking for good quality tweezers, which is much harder than one would expect. Prior to purchasing this, I’ve been using Anastasia’s tweezer which I do love. I think it’s not as sharp anymore (after 3-4 years) because it doesn’t work well on hard to get hair. Instead of purchasing another one from Anastasia, I figured I’d try this one. So far it works really well, easy to hold/use and does work on hard to get hair. Hopefully it lasts as long as my Anastasia one (if not longer).
