Does this board support ryzen 3600 without a bios update, and if it does need a bios update, can that be done without an exsisting 2nd gen cpu?

I’m late to the party.... I picked up this MB and the Ryzen 3600 last month. Needed a BIOS update as didn’t work initially so I picked up a AMD Athlon 200GE for £40. Worked and updated BIOS. The Ryzen 3600 now works like a treat and as expected. 👌

In 2020 this is advertised as "ryzen 3000 ready". will it come with a 3700x compatible bios out of the box?

If it states 3000 ready and doesn’t work with 3700x I’d be sending it back for false advertisement

How many ssd can this mobo support

both responses are wrong. I've got this board you can have up to 6 2.5" SSD in at one time. But if you choose to use a M.2 drive it will disable 2 Sata ports meaning you'd be limited to a maximum of 5 hard drives in that situation. 4 if you use 2 M.2 drives. it's a issue with the limited number of PCIE lanes your CPU has. 24 being the current limit i think. I'm not a tech expert I just have autistic wunderkind tech guy that helps me with this stuff.
