Simple design works well
High build quality, nice finish. The flexibility of the neck helped me overcome the awkward position the electrician mounted the box. I also like the light cone it produces, it goes from bright to dark since the bulb is recessed in the shade a little. This makes it easier to sleep next to someone with it on. The simple manual dimmer control which when paired with a wall switch serves as a physical memory of your favorite output level.All for 1/4 price of name brand lights trying to accomplish similar look and function.

Hard to adjust
Had to return. The arm isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the head up. Seems fine when head is pointed down and is below the point where it attaches to the wall. If I wanted to aim it up, it would always drop several inches after I let go after picking the position I wanted. Not sure if this would get even worst over time. If it had held the adjustment better, this would have been the perfect lamp.

Better for a hardwire situation
It’s a decent LED reading light. It has a narrow beam of light, so it has to be directed toward what you are reading. It’s also not too bright, really just enough for reading. I wanted this to hang near my bed to replace a very old lamp, and I need a cord due to old house electric limitations. I think this design may work best for a hardwire installation and a proper junction box. I’m uncomfortable hanging it on my wall without an enclose back. The exposed wires make me nervous. It’s probably fine, but not for me.

Exactly What You Need
This was exactly what I was looking for. It easy easy to install. Flexible so my son can adjust the height and has a summer to control the brightness. I am glad it has the option to plug in or connect to the electrical circuits. I dont mess with electricity so plugging it in is great.

I really like the quality of this light.. the dimming switch is awesome along with the flexibility of the direction of the light. For the money it’s a great buy! I would definitely recommend!

Great task lighting for bedroom
I like these lights for bedside reading. They are attractive task lighting and a good size. I love that they are dimmable so I can keep reading without disturbing my hubby. Happy so far!

Just what I needed
I have a dark corner in the kitchen this works great as a task light over a table. Looks good as an accent/mood light .too.
