Women's EcoSmart Open Bottom Leg Sweatpants,Ebony,Medium

I’m 5’2” 138lbs, evenly portioned and my waist curves in (hourglass) Perfection. I purchased 7 of these sweatpants back in 2020, it’s 2025 now. They are hemmed perfectly for SHORTER gals, no stepping on fabric. I do remember there being slight discrepancies between the small and medium but not much ( I cut my tags off a long time ago ). I wear these every single day/night, as soon as I get home, I change into them. There waistband sits perfectly either right above hip or in the bottom portion of my waist curves. The fabric hold up well. After 5 years of daily wear, I have had only 2 with slight holes in the thigh or groin area seam that have needed a quick repair. I believe I only paid $9. At the time and now they are $15, 5 years later. Still worth it. Oh and they wash up great - even 5 years later. I NEVER had any black dye or issues with fuzz balls or anything of the ilk. They never had a chemical smell ( which I find a lot of black dyed items do now). Oh and they wash up waistband (not annoying elastic band) has held up wonderful, always “shrinking back” to original size after washing, even after a lot of wear.

I went to a job interview in these! Mind, it was not for a fully professional job, but when I asked if "These pants would work?" (*after* they had specifically outlawed sweatpants from the "List 'o Acceptable Attire") I was told "Those are perfect" 😅 They are soft, comfy, go everywhere and warm. Now the bad part: I ordered a medium, and they were too small. Not in the waist! I am a size 14, and Amazon recommended medium, so I went with medium. And, yes, the elastic waist was fine, and so was the leg length. But they were too short "in" the waist. I kept having to hoist them back up, and I don't like that feel at all. And the constant stretching of them meant I had a dime sized hole right in the middle of the crotch within two weeks and they had to be tossed. (I guess I could have returned them.) I'll re-order in large. I did order the Hanes "snug around the ankle" large and that fit well. So hopefully so will these. Just be warned.

Glad I saw others post these ran large and to order a size down. I usually order large b/c I like my sweatpants kind of baggy and comfy. I ordered medium - and I got baggy and comfy, lol. Seriously, they do run large. I've only washed/dried them once but the didn't shrink much if any. The waist being a band instead of outright elastic makes them feel a little too loose for my liking 0 wiush they had a drawstring. Still, all in all I'm happy with them.

Not true to size, to small

I am 5'4''. I weigh 155lbs. I wear a size 11/12 - 13/14 in my jeans. I ordered a size medium in these pants. The size chart said that I should order a large, but I read the reviews that said these run big. The reviews are right. Buy a size smaller than recommended on the chart. The medium fits me perfectly. The waist is not too big or small. They are perfect. They are nice and long, but they don't drag the floor. They are extremely soft and comfortable. Wash before wear because of the paint type of smell (I always do this anyways.). These are just a basic sweatpant. Not sexy or form fitting anywhere. These don't fit like the kind you would find at a junior clothing store. If you are looking for something basic and extremely comfortable then these are it. Don't forget to size down.

I have bought and worn these Hanes sweatpants for about 15 years now. i have always bought them two, or four at a time, and have gone through 16 or 18 pairs. I was in small, and for a bit more room I moved up to medium last year even though I have had to roll the waist a bit. Anyway, I had four pairs here and ordered two more. Well, I always check the tag, and it said medium so through the wash they went with all the rest. When I hung them, I didn’t look to see which was new vs old, but I could immediately tell when I ended up with a new pair because they felt exactly like the smalls I had worn for so long. I can only say these were mislabeled, or God-forbid, the sizing has changed. It is rather upsetting though because now I still need two more pairs but hesitate to “try again”. Word to the wise: try them on before washing to check the fit. Don’t accept if obviously wrong.

I have been buying Hanes sweatpants for years. they are my go to for barn chores and lounging around the house. Not sure what is going on with quality control. The green pair fit great. The black are just weird. They are too short in the rise and too snug in the hip area, almost like they were cut for a man. Both were size medium. I am going to rethink ordering from Hanes from now on.

The material is so soft and the pants are super comfortable! I’m 5’4” and found them to be slightly long but other than that, super happy with them!

I ordered a medium and they're big. I have thicker thighs and am for the most part a medium (size 6 normally) But they're so comfy, I'm taking them to a lady I know who'll turn the waist into a draw string. I can see me wearing these death. I'll buy another pair but a small size. Material is a little thin which makes these pants great for spring or autumn for my climate (if I wear them outside)

Love these they are comfortable and wash nicely.
