I’m really impressed with the quality of Uncle Jim’s Worm Farm red wigglers. They arrived healthy, active, and ready to get to work in my compost bin. Since adding them, my compost breaks down faster and has less odor. Shipping was quick and the worms were well-packaged. A great product for anyone looking to start or maintain a worm bin. Highly recommend!

I would give this distributor a 10 if the system wouldve let me. The product was shipped fast, package well and the amount of live worms was awesome. This is the third purchase from Amazon but this by far was the best value for your money and did I say super fast shipping. I just created 2 new flower beds in my backyard and the soil is clay with little to no greenery as the previous homeowners got rid of everything green to include the grass replacement was rock garden. Im now faced with rebuilding the soil for my new plants to thrive and I read adding live worms will help. If I need more worms I will be purchasing from this company.

I contacted the company customer service and told the representive that my package had been delivered in Texas when it was 103 degrees and left in the sun for 4 hours. Very few active worms when placed in my compost mixture. I waited a few days and still no activity. Instead of FedEx driver placing the package on my porch where I would have gotten an alert, the driver left the package sitting on the walkway in direct sun. Although not Uncle Jim's Worm Farm's fault, I called and told the representative what had happened. She replaced the shipment and also waited until the end of the month to ship when the weather was cooler. I now have many active and healthy worms. Totally different from first batch.

Worms came earlier than expected! I got them so fast in a couple of days. The worms are very skinny but the paperwork stated it was normal that once they get food and hydrated they will get back to normal pretty quickly. I took pics of the worms when I got them. I took a pic of my red worms and these worms you can see the difference and the last pic is of the new worms just recently and it’s been several weeks they have been plenty hydrated and fed and they are still very slim BUT it seems that most of them lived and that’s what I was hoping for!

The red wrigglers arrived much faster than expected. We hydrated them (as directed) as soon as they arrived. They had been inside a UPS truck all day, so I was expecting alot of them to be dead on arrival; but, it seems that most, if not all, were alive and well. We took them outside right away and put them in our raised bed garden, along with some top soil on top. We noticed that they almost immediately dispersed and began disappearing into the soil. Highly recommend and would definitely purchase from this seller again.

This is my first time to order live worms through the mail. I received these less than 48 hours from when they were sent, so though I couldn’t see any worms when I opened the bag, I followed directions and dumped a half a cup of water in and within an hour, I could see bunches of worms squirming around. I bought these worms for a worm composting bucket that I had sunk into the ground in my garden. I covered them with wet, shredded paper and then with some produce scraps; and I’m hoping for the best. If they don’t do well, it will not be the fault of this product because the worms were healthy when I received them. I hope they will do well in the worm bucket that I have gotten for them.Do be aware that they recommend you put these worms in the bin or wherever you are going to use them in the ground right away. So, when you order these keep in mind that you can’t wait a week to use them. You have to be ready to use them when you get them. Fortunately, since mine were only two days in transit when I got them, I put them in a dark room at room temperature and waited another day to put them out. But this would’ve been very stressful for them, had they been shipped several days earlier.I recommend this brand. Five stars.

Nicely packaged arrived on time. Worms did looks small at first but now that they are in the compost they seem to be getting bigger. Would recommend it

Everything was great, almost. The worms were all alive and very healthy. They were crawling out of the bag they were so healthy. The only problem I had was the bag didn’t have the uncle Jim’s logo on it. Or they didn’t give me a sticker or something like that. as small as this issue is. Still an issue to me. But all in all the worms were great!
