I'm a little mad given the amount of money I spend with you folks.
I will say this was handy as I get closer to the goal line with publishing a paper back book with KDP. Matt seems fairly knowledgeable about the process. I'm waiting until my next SS check to purchase the right KDP template, though I was a bit upset that in chapter one he promises a free template (the one he uses) by going to the http://... address he provides only to have it tell me that deal is no longer valid. Why is that. It seems to almost be a contractual agreement in which I've met my end of the consideration portion only to find you are in breach.

Perfect for those looking to make an online income with no money to invest
I heard about publishing on Amazon through word-of-mouth and finally decided to learn about it. I’m convinced after this book that this is one of the best passive income opportunities out there. You really don’t need anything to get started. The author gave the pros and cons of all the self-publishing options: DIY cover designs vs. hiring professionals, formatting and editing options, and more. This a comprehensive book, which is all the more impressive given the length of the book. All the info is provided concisely and in a very digestible manner. Great read, well worth the price!

A decent read but only 56 total pages and the personal template link doesn't even work. Overpriced for that reason.

Very informative
I have been self publishing since 2017 and despite the numerous self publishing courses I have purchased and the countless experiences along the way I still find this book very useful. If you are new to the self publishing business it is a must read. I really appreciate the sections on AMS Ads and building an email list. This book packs all the fundamentals of self publishing in a simple enough way for all to understand and appreciate.

Useless waste of money.
If I could give this book a minus one star then I certainly would do so. The book is of no real help at all. It is simply a reference book to other sources of information. Another point. There are NO detailed information about the importance of ISBN numbers at all. An ISBN number is extremely important!!! There is NO information at all about this issue. If you accept a free ISBN number for your book from Amazon then your book is locked in and controlled by Amazon and can not be sold elsewhere on other platforms. This book does not even talk about this issue!!!

Problem with Formatting Link
I agree with a previously submitted rating that the link provided by the author, which states, "As a thank-you for buying this book, I'd like to offer you the FREE Amazon KDP Manuscript Template... This is the exact same template I've used for years to minimize formatting issues when converting from Word to Kindle-ready format..." Great, except that, as the former reviewer noted, the link does not work. Is it possible to receive an updated link? Other than that, I have found no fault with the contents, and I appreciate the author's sharing this valuable information.

Best sellers are not necessarily well written books
Matt Vos is accurate and offers excellent curated advice on how to create a best selling book that will appeal to a wide market and enable you to earn a living as an author. This is NOT a guide to writing a good book. They are different. While I am yet to complete the full process as this is my first book, I feel his best point may be: Just do it, follow the process Matt describes, learn what works for you, adjust, rinse and repeat.
