Dorman 31001 Shock Bolt Kit - Universal 1/2-20 Universal Fit

This fit perfectly on my 2002 ford e 350, I broke the stud when installing new fro t shocks. This product saved my butt from having to pay big money at a shop for welding on a new stud. I HIGHLY recommend this if you broke off a stud.

Product is as described and works perfect

I used it to replace bottom front shock mount on 96 Ford Ranger. After cutting off rest of old stud and grinding flush to control arm metal, drilled a 1/2" hole and mounted. The spacing for the shock, and stud depth was perfect. I didn't need the two bushing supplied as they are part of new shock. Great little item here.

These worked perfect for my application, an airbagged s10 with some no name shocks, hard to find parts when it’s a combination of random stuff

Fits 1957 chevy 1/2 ton

Thought it would work for the bottom mounts but only for threaded not welded mounts on the top side. Make sure you need it for that purpose and your upper mounts aren’t welded.

Easy to install and fit my shocks perfectly. Now that the original pin is cut off and the hole drilled, if this unit wears out, it will be a an even simpler fix to install a new one.

When ordering vehicle parts , it is imparitive that the order is correct and it arrives on time --- this product did !

Part said it wouldn't fit my 1983 monte carlo, but it did fit it perfectly.

I had to return the articule due to lack of information on the length of the bolt. The bolt is three inches long, I needed four inches long.
