Omron KARADA Scan Body Composition & Scale | HBF-375 (Japanese Import)

Firstly, the model I received today has NO JAPANESE WRITINGS. The box has English description, manual is in English and Chinese. Indicators are all in ENGLISH...........(machine only displays in kilograms and centimeters for height though) Which is rather disappointing for me as I'd rather be reading Japanese and I thought that what I was getting. (everything in Japanese language) I think it is not correct to advertise it as Japan Import as it is made in China and the only Japanese thing is the company, OMRON, which headquarter is in Japan. I have not used the machine yet, so far looks great. Why some customers are complaining that they can't use the product is a mystery to me, it is very simple, in ENGLISH language.

First of, thank you to Amazon delivery service guy for hiding it behind our porch because all the packages have been taken by thieves and our mailbox was ransacked! Product was great and useful by the way!

High-tech, complex body composition scale comes with 42 pages of instructions in Japanese, not in English as depicted in the Amazon.com product description. All labeling on the scale and in the display is in Japanese, so even after I downloaded the product manual in English from manualslib . com, I still had trouble selecting between "Male" or "Female" during initial setup. I Googled "Japanese symbols for male and female" and did not get a direct answer, but results helped me make what I hope was the correct choice. I wish the buttons were labeled in English. It seems to be a really nice body comp scale, though.

Yes like many have stated it’s all in Japanese. Luckily I know some Japanese and I was able to find a tutorial to help me set it up. It works great

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN AMAZON, AND OMRON, FOR NOT CONSIDERING NON-JAPANESE CONSUMERS, BY AT LEAST PUBLISHING A MANUEL THAT CAN TRANSLATE FOREIGN MEASUREMENTS, WEIGHTS, ETC. INTO THE RESPECTIVE LANGUAGES OF THE BUYER. THIS PRODUCT IS USELESS TO ME, NOT FOR MECHANICAL REASONS, BUT SIMPLY BECAUSE I CAN'T READ IT. THE ICONS SHOULD SHOW CLEARLY, HOW TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE - THEREBY ALLOWING A CORRECT ANALYSIS. I WASTED TIME AND MONEY, ON A USELESS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT - SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE THOUGHTLESSNESS OF THE SELLERS. Amazon, and/or Omron, can redeem themselves by publishing a Manuel (including pictures on the scale) in English, with a comparison table included. Even if you sell them - it's worth it - rather than this machine becoming a doorstop.
