This diary/blank book is perfect for my 7-year old daughter. She loves Descendants, but she doesn't like writing - this book was just the motivation she needed to write - a lot! Starting with writing lists of her friends and the presents she wanted for Christmas, she recently has begun to write more of a journal of the events of her day. The book is beautiful with 12 "gems" on the cover, and it is very well made. I highly recommend this product. I hope you find my review helpful!

Beautiful diary for a 10 year old girl. Plenty of lined pages for writing on, and each page also has a dragon printed on it. Good quality paper in the diary. It also has a lock on it for privacy.

Bought this for my 8 year old before a surgical procedure. I’m glad it came with two keys for when she lost the first one, though it wouldn’t be hard to pop the lock.

I was a bit hesitant about ordering this journal because I read a lot of reviews that said that the journal arrived broken or would easily break. However, my little sister really wanted it so I decided to buy it. It arrived in perfect condition and didn't break despite being opened and closed multiple times. It also looks exactly like the spell book in the movie. The lock and keys also function well.

Cons: it’s smaller than i thought it would be it doesn’t have the descendants apple on the lock the lock itself is a struggle to lock Pros: definitely still a mal notebook and is perfect for cosplay! well built even tho i’ve seen reviews that say otherwise overall: if you’re looking for a basic version of mal’s spell book then this is it! but the disney store one was more accurate

I purchased this as a gift for my niece. To my surprise it’s a dense little book! It will have her journaling for quite some time.
