Fresh product with the coarse grind I prefer.
Typical store-bought, pre-ground black pepper tends to be a fine grind in my opinion. I wanted something coarser so I ordered this to try. Sure, I can get a coarse grind if I use whole peppercorns and a grinder but I wanted the convenience of pre-ground. This McCormick "coarse grind" seems fresh and has the smell and spiciness I was looking for.
