Not for coaches...
Good chest guard offers a decent amount of protection, but better suited for light sparring drills or for beginner drills rather than for coaching or full contact sparring. I would recommend the Venum Elite body protector, it is just as light but can take much higher impact.Pros:Easy to get on and off without helpLightweight and easy to move in, when holding focus mittsCons:Expensive product for such a lightweight guardRides up on the shoulders when in use.Hard to adjust straps for best fitFull contact hits go right thru the pad, not recommended for coaches or full contact sparring.

Likes; the vest style offers comfort and stability while wearing, doesn't move much if it's tightened good, shoulder straps are wide and comfortable I've had some feel like they were sliding off. This sits well on the torso.Dislike; Not very much cushion or very high quality cushion, I use this for beginner students who are not unloading body work on me, but for my advanced punchers this feels like taking blows straight to the body. I would recommended a bigger protecter for advanced levels but for light work it's great!. And it looks cool while wearing!

Piece of CRAP!
Piece of CRAP!!! I used one time and center plastic buckle cracked... im a beginner marshal arts person. Do not buy this product.. stupid me missed the return deadline.

Even with low expectations this dissapoints
Well it didn't have part of the buckle. I was going to contact the company and get one mailed. Then I decided to try it out. I basically wrapped it with some bands. Tested out the impact resistance. Not that good. Open palm shots to myself that weren't even executed that hard. I felt it through the vest. Especially the sides. Not really spread out. It's not as thick as the pictures made it lookAlso this vest has slippery lining so even with it tight it rode up. Chin check city. I've used other chest protectors and protection/function wise this is the worse. I've used some for boxing, muay thai, kick boxing and tkd.It looks cool and craftsmanship is decent. That's about it.
