Q: Does the straw lid Have the straw that goes all the way to the bottom

No. the straw on the 64 is 4 inches from the bottom. The 32 is better than the 64 but not that much better. Both bottles may be the same dimensional height and come with the same size straw; the 64 has a larger diameter, so it wastes more. So I sent two back thinking it had to be an error, but it ended up just being poor design. If I looked hard enough, I am sure I could find a generic sraw.

Q: Looking for feedback specifically on the flip lid? Is it truly leak proof? Especially with kids using it. Is it durable?

I love the quality of the Iron Flask water bottles and have used them for years. The only lid that’s truly leak- proof is the “spout lid”. The bottles come with various sets of lids, so you’ll have to search for one. If your heart is set on a certain color, you can buy replacement spout lids, though.
