I injured my knee and the massive leg brace provided from the ER could NOT stay up did not work once I was up and walking around. I mean it was great to protect the knee but if it can not stay in place it is useless. It constantly slid down causing pain in the foot and not stabilizing the knee at all. Even tying it to a belt only gave it bare functionality. With thick thighs and smaller calf it was impossible to think the full leg brace would stay in place. I was in pain and desperate to protect my knees I started doing a lot of research. I knew the one piece neoprene knee "braces" would slide down for same reason or squeeze uncomfortably into the leg fat (always too small) and while only providing compression but no stability. So now the actual review (background helps with understanding). They had good reviews and were not overly expensive and as I was desperate I took a chance. I really liked how they Velcroed above and below the knee to give custom fit without hurting the knee itself more. There are also some stabilizing built in on the sides of the knee where it makes most sense. I was able to bend the knee just a bit but that was helpful with getting comfortable and wearing 23 hours a day. My knee was not feeling stable and the brace really helped with giving me more confidence to walk with a cane instead of the cumbersome walker. I still have to be careful with my steps because the knee was not healed but SOOOO much more freedom. Now just attaching the top and bottom Velcro pieces would not have been enough to stabilize the knee. There was no possible way to put them tight enough to hold the joint in place. This is where I fell in love with these braces. The two straps which come around the front of the brace, around the back of the knee and Velcro securely on the top front of the brace really and tie it all together. The straps were the perfect length for the size of the brace. I could tighten all the way to the logo for most stability or just to front sides for lighter stability. My knee felt so safe and really reduced the pain level of not wearing a brace. Two things in the listing really were spot on. They have multiple sizes so they recommend measuring the thigh a few inches above the knee and matching their size chart. This directed me to the size for the best fitting knee brace EVER. I have never had such an easy time getting a brace that actually fit my dimensions. The second item that was really helpful was the video showing how the straps correctly wrapped around. No a long video but made it very clear which way to wrap the straps for best functionality. The only thing that was not spot on was the cloth sleeve they provide to put under the brace. There is an open area behind the knee that you need but the fat rubs a bit and the edges can rub into the skin a bit. So they provide a cloth sleeve to place under the brace but... they did not take into account that this was a large brace and the sleeve is was not large enough so did not come up high enough. I didn't care because I did not know it came with that cloth sleeve. But if they actually put in the package a sleeve large enough to come up higher than the brace it would have been perfect. I just wore the brace over a pair of Capri leggings when out walking about or over PJ bottoms at home and was very comfortable. I did wear it under a pair of leggings one day and it worked and the brace was less noticeable but I just like better over leggings. Plus I got to choose the color strips in the brace and got a color I like so the brace is spruced up. Really this brace has been the most functional knee brace I have ever used and I will likely get a second one if the other knee is cranky at the same time. Plus I will recommend to everyone I know to get this brace if they need effective joint stability and different size thighs. RECOMMEND !!! Oh and BTW don't try to be a superhero. Your knee is still injured and needs time to heal. This brace will not magically heal your knee, it'll just keep the knee safe while healing. Trust me I know. :P

I purchased this brace after a lot of research to replace my old brace. The old brace was the type that is a tube with Velcro straps so your shoe had to be off to put it on or remove. It was also made of neoprene which got really hot playing racquetball. This strap can be added or removed with your shoes on. It has a slightly smaller profile than my previous one and is comfortable to wear. I have worn this brace several times playing racquetball and it supports my left knee perfectly and there is no arthritis pain. I like the crossover straps that all you to tighten the brace as needed and get good compression. No adjustment is required to account for slipping even after three games. The quality is seems very good and the price was reasonable. I feel this brace helps to reduce injury and allows me to stay active in my 60s. I typically hand wash these types of items but it should be machine washable. The only unknown is how long the velcro will last on the straps. Typically the velcro is the first thing to fail and then you are not able to tighten the brace or it does not stay in place. Hopefully I get a few years on of this and it seems like I will.

First off, I strictly wear this brace during active running outdoor activity. What the brace does well? It gives very good support when performing regular and lateral movement. The velcro to secure the brace above and below the knee works just fine. Because it is Velcro, if you need to pull it a little more secure on the upper and lower portion of the knee you can. The wrap around straps work very well for getting additional support in the knee area. Since they also have Velcro attached, they also give you the ability to make it tighter if needed. A bit tip, use the comfort sleeve they provided to wear under the brace. It makes the brace a bit more comfortable. Recommended size based on chart provided was spot on. The brace also keeps the area nice and warm. Big question for me? Does the brace provide the support that I was looking for and give me the confidence to perform the outdoor activity? The answer is yes.

Doufurt supplies a free gift with the knee brace. This review will cover the sleeve as well as the brace. 1. Brace. This is a great knee brace. It completely stabilizes my knee without sacrificing too much range of motion. There is some restriction which is necessary but this brace still offers great movement. I can now play golf without any knee pain. The brace stabilizes lateral movement of the knee which is key to relieving knee pain due to arthritis. 5 stars for the brace 2. Comfort sleeve. The sleeve is part of the order, listed as a ‘gift’. It eliminates chafing between the brace and the knee. However, the sleeve is made of very thin material which will tear over time as mine did. See photo attached. I want to order more sleeves, but the Doufurt response claims this is a gift and not for sale. This is why the overall rating for this brace is 3 stars. It should be included with the order, not as a gift but as something you can order additionally. Perhaps a pack of 3 would be nice. 3. In a previous question the response from Doufurt was to reach out to the seller’s website and send a request to their website. I could not find a Doufurt email address. Reaching out to amazon’s email will not work. So I’m not sure what the email reference was. 4. Overall, the brace receives a 5 star but the sleeve construction and the inability to order additional sleeves gives the product a 3 star rating. Update to my first review: I gave the brace an overall 3 star but now will increase it to 5 stars. The reason is the quality of customer service. The company agreed to send some new comfort sleeves. Also, the first brace developed a tear in it after only 5-6 wearings. I requested a replacement which they immediately shipped to me. This is a great brace that limits some lateral movement while allowing normal flexing of the knee. I would recommend this brace.

Great seller. Fast shipping. Love the brace. Holds up great for knee support. Works so well. Wish it came with an extra sleeve or two for underneath as it’s pretty thin and tears easily but the actual brace is amazing.

My doctor recommended a knee brace with side reinforcement to stabilize my knee especially when ambulating outside on uneven terrains post a severe knee contusion. Ive tried 2 other brand a that failed to stabilize the knee sufficiently. This ones is definitely improving my weight bearing, stab- ilization, and mobility.

Purchased for my meniscus tear in my knee. Did the job for about two months with great support. than the Velcro wouldn’t stick any longer and kept coming apart. Would need to replace often 🥺
