I must say this mint for dogs is incredible for taking away bad doggie breath. My dog had horrendous breath to the point no one wanted kisses from her and her teeth are healthy. We tried several different things to try and get rid of that bad breath. I had never noticed these before so I figured couldn’t hurt to try when I did. Oh my they are small but did the trick! My 47lb boxer gets two a day as an added treat and she loves them. They cleared up that bad breath within the second day of giving them to her. Small but tasty to my dog and mighty In freshening breath!!

Tilly is the short hair and passed in Nov. Since then Poopsie has been depressed and very picky about eating. She turns her nose up at everything. And I mean everything. She turs away from bacon, sausage, chicken. She is just sad. She keeps looking for her sister. So I keep putting food out she takes a bite or too and goes and lays in the corner. At first I gave her one of these and she put it down. then she went back for it.Now she is quite excited about them .. It makes me so happy . I am tearing up right now. I love her so much. So I am back on subscription. I am going to try and get the lower price though. Although she is worth every penny. God Bless Arm & Hammer. I do not know if it cleaned he palet or what but she has been eating other things too. I am so greatful . since it other pet families you will understand. We have been so sad. I was so worried about Poopsie missing her sister while we were all grieving. This really is a big releif. My girl has a bit of joy.

Nice daily oral hygiene treat however they stink bad. Be prepared to wash your hands afterwards.

These little mints have become a perfect addition to the daily tarter control program I’ve established for my miniature schnauzer. A three step daily routine that begins with her first morning bowl of water having one capful of Arm and Hammer water additive in it, and brushing her teeth with Arm and Hammer tarter control toothpaste in the evening. During the day, she gets a couple of these tarter control “treats “. The results of this daily routine have been nothing short of remarkable! Amy has just turned 2 years old, and her teeth were showing the beginning of tartar building up on her teeth next to her gum line. After only a few weeks of following this daily routine, her teeth are perfectly white with not a trace of tartar. An added bonus is that the Arm and Hammer line of canine dental products isn’t nearly as expensive as the majority of tartar control products on the market. My dog hasn’t had any digestive issues from these Arm and Hammer products and seems to like the flavor of the toothpaste and mints. I like that I’m not feeding her a tartar control “chew” every day, that adds calories to her diet, and may not agree with her digestion. I’ll be sticking with the 3 part routine I’ve described, keeping Amy’s teeth healthy and free from tartar, throughout what I’m hoping will be a long and healthy life for my miniature schnauzer. Update: I’ve been reading some reviews that say these tartar control mints are too small to scrape any tartar formation off their dogs teeth. These little mints aren’t meant to scrape anything off your dog’s teeth. They are meant to be an easy way to get the enzymatic ingredients into your dogs mouth. Bathing the dogs teeth in the enzymes that are meant to remove tartar buildup on all of your dogs teeth. I make giving my miniature schnauzer one of these mints every night, just before she curls up on my bed to sleep, part of our nightly routine That way, her teeth are covered by the tartar removing enzymes until she drinks her first bowl of water the next morning. A bowl of water that contains one capful of Arm and Hammer water additive for tartar control, continuing her tartar control routine.

I guess I didn't read the description closely enough, but the container is about the size of an Altoids mint container. The treats inside are sealed in a plastic bag, which is good for freshness, but definitely takes up a lot of the product space, so tin is not full after emptying bag into tin. My dog likes them, but they are very small, so I doubt his teeth get much chew time before he swallows them. Pricey for the amount you get. On a side note -- I really like the stick chew twists this brand offers.

I've been buying these for awhile now and normally these are all broken and you end up giving your dog bits and pieces. This time though, when I opened the boxes up, I was surprised to see they were all in tact! My Chihuahua loves these (whole or broken) and they really do help keep his teeth clean and smelling good. I am very pleased this time to see finally someone realized there was a problem with broken treats and perhaps it's been corrected? Anyway, I still recommend these and like that they do help my Chihuahua.

These tiny bites didn't appear to change much of anything for either of our dogs and it was a one time purchase and no more. I didn't particularly care for the fragrance when the tin was opened daily for administering to the dogs. Some of them in the tin were broken before ever using, so I pieced together colors and shapes to be a fair amount per dog until the tin was emptied after the daily doses were given.

I’ve used these dental mints for my dog’s for many years. The mints are small bone shapes and their size is very deceptive for the good effect it has on reducing bad breath. I have a large Labrador and give him 6 in any one day which is ample to take away that doggy breath. Can’t rate the flavour as I don’t eat them but my dog scoffs them without any issues. I’ve found these mints are getting harder to find in stores or online so was delighted to see that Amazon appears to still keep them stocked.

My dog just swallow the mints like a candy, they are tiny and many broken pieces, really don't think it helps in reducing tartar/plaque

These are a good item my dog loves them, his breath has improved a lot, these were costing me £3.99 a tin, but now they are £16.98 a tin, I love my dog but at this price increase I will not be buying them anymore, I know everything has increased but this is way more. Hopefully this item will return to a better price in the not to distant future.
