This wood is way better than I expected. It’s gorgeous, but darker than I thought it would be. The color is uniform though if that is the look you’re going for. We ended up returning it because it wasn’t quite the right shade of brown for us.

I think the finished product was great! They did send a box short pieces and had another box with piece cut at various lengths instead of the full length. There was a bit of an odor for a week or two in the bathroom. It was easy to install and would recommend a skill saw to cut if necessary.

Beautiful product. Used nail gun, mixed up all the boxes so I’d have a good variation in color, and cut pieces to random sizes for a more rustic look. Boards were great. Very few cracked or chipped boards. None were cupped or twisted. I’m ordering more for another accent wall!

Purchased this product based on the information provided (no shrinkage, high hunidity okay, etc) and the warranty (50 year!). I got about halfway done installing the product and then winter hit (bathroom is on an exterior wall) and it's been on hold until warmer weather. Imagine my surprise when I went into the bathroom and found probably 40% or more of the planks bowed or bulged! I removed one to make sure a water line hadn't broken some how (all new pex plumbing so not likely anyway), and you can see the sheetrock behind it is bone dry. As good as this product seemed to be, I either got a bad batch or it's not what they say it is. I purchased back in May of 22' so I'm out over $800 now for a product that is junk and unusable. Can't find any way to contact for warranty purposes but that will most likely only cover product replacement. After all the work to install and now the work I'll have to do to remove it, I do not want more of this product.

This is a great product for the cost. The planks are natural wood with minor variations, easy to work with overall. However, be mindful of leaving a small gap between joints. With temperature and humidity changes, a few planks popped loose (I’d nailed them on with cordless nail gun). I simply had to remove them and shave off a bit to create that necessary gap. Lesson learned!

Pros- nice thin and rustic, good dimension, very minimal warping Cons- ribbing effect from the cross cuts is undesirable and caused a lot of extra sanding. See photos. The idea was sand off coat of lighter paint to reveal wood color and grain, not use as is. As you can see the band saw vibration caused some ribbing texture that had to be sanded out. Some pieces were decent (3rd pic) but the majority needed extra work. Obvious these need to sealed for wet area as well.

boards came as the correct size lightweight and easy for me to handle which is my goal as I’m doing a shiplap bedroom wall by myself with no major power tools. However, one board out of each box is in two pieces so if you’re not planning on filling them and painting them you probably need to buy extra for your project
