I'm a doodler and a Journal/Sketchbook Junkie. I have more types and kinds then I can count and will most likely be able to use in a lifetime. I specifically bought these three for Doodling. I have one on my nightstand, one on the end table in family room and one in my office area. Each accompanied with a pencil bag of identical favorite pens, pencil and eraser. My husband just shakes his head as my hobbies are way less expensive then his but I do see the comedy in my 3 Identical Sets. The paper is rated as 100gsm according to the description. This is the rating of average home printer paper that you buy in 500 sheet packs at Walmart. Ive included some pictures to exhibit uses. Sharpie markers obviously bleed threw as shown. I just put a folded piece of paper behind sheet to protect next page. Micron pens don't bleed nor do Crayola Markers and others like them. Gel Pens don't bleed but can be clearly scene on back of page. All types of pencils work well and erase well. The books are perfect for doodling, sketching, writing, etc. It doesn't lay flat perfectly but well enough. I use a clip to hold down any unruly pages or a rubber band. Both work equally well. The A5 Size makes it perfect to slip into a handbag, purse, bookbag, etc. I throw mine in my bag along with small generic zip up pencil case with no problems. Its perfect for killing time in waiting rooms or wherever you may find yourself trying to kill some time. I love the basic kraft paper book cover. When one is complete I can easily decorate by drawing, coloring etc. I can leave as is or easily cover with some fabric and a hot glue gun. These would be perfect for uniquely decorating and gifting to someone. The price is just another reason to love as the value for price is Outstanding! I've seen others selling in low twenties which to me is outrageous. I will be buying more as my daughter has found some craft project she wants to try. The project calls for this type of journal/Sketchbook. At this price I can afford to buy multiple in case the initial craft project try goes awry. Hope the pics help.

Great quality and durable. Perfect for the budding artist. The size of the books are ideal for sketching and the quality of the paper is strong. Markers do not bleed through, and perfect forbcrayins and colored pencils. Great value for the money!

I absolutely love these. I keep multiple journal types (learning, reading, and art), so this allows me to decorate the exterior to go with the contents. The quality is excellent and I will be keeping these on hand!

Perfect for my daughter who loves to paint, draw, and write stories! They were a great price, great quality, and I'll buy more when she runs out! She feels like she's an author and an illustrator! So cool!

I love how sturdy these are! They have a great spine and wonderful pages . We use them for nature study and they come in handy when we draw and color without bleeding through. The page texture is wonderful. They are perfect for the creative person who is looking for drawing or just journaling .

The paper and binding is very high quality and this is a great amount of writing space for the size! However the notebooks arrived dinged up and smashed around the corners, even with some minimal tearing. All in all good quality but should be shipped in better packaging.

No problems, All is as expected. Grandkids (5 and 6 years old) love them. Writing stories and drawing related pictures. Creative activity. Had these before and the gkids always like them.

I rarely ever write reviews for products but I have to say that for a price of a little over $6 a book this feels like a knockout deal for people that want this type of product. I got a set of these books because I kept getting expensive notebooks that I didn't want to mess up or waste with idle thoughts and ideas that wouldn't look clean or be presentable in some hypothetical scenario where I show these off some day. It sounds silly writing that but the fear of somehow messing up a blank book is one that I've really been trying to get over. These books are absolutely fantastic for that. They're raw- just board and paper- and they smell like an old book you'd borrow from one of the libraries oldest and dustiest sections... but in a good way! When I got mine I immediately felt like filling up my fountain pen and getting to work. The creativity begged me to start filling pages and I felt like flipping Bilbo Baggins working on An Unexpected Journey. I feel like I want to order about three hundred more just in case they stop making them some day. I'll hold back for now, but I just want to say that I think I've thought up an ending for this review; and he lived happily ever after, till the end of his days.
