I can only speak from my personal experience, I wanted to add a graphics card and a new power supply to my Dell Inspiron 3891. It important to get the correct ATX adapter cable, there's quite a few, I didn't the first-time round and had to send it back and correct my mistake. Second time round the conversion worked perfectly and I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. Hope this helps.
