Very happy with this ceramic pour over dripper
This is a great product. It's ceramic, not plastic and has a cutout so you can see how the coffee drip is progressing. I use it every morning. Very happy with it

Love this funnel
My previously bought a fancy Japanese brand, coffee funnel, but it was much smaller than this one. For some reason, it also made my coffee filters, rip, and I ended up with a huge mess most mornings I was making coffee. This funnel sits perfectly on top of my large mugs, and I haven’t had one filter rip. It’s sturdy, Easy to use, and the color relaxes me every time I see it. I would definitely recommend this product and seller.

I love it!
My friends make their coffee with a pour over filter so when my coffee maker stopped working I started researching what was out there. This is exactly like the ones sold in Target so I was able to hold it in my hand and see one in person which helped narrow down my decision. The ones at Target were a light grey (boring). The aqua color is beautiful and goes with most of my mugs and some of my kitchen colors. I bought #4 filters because I read another review that suggested that size. It sticks up a little in the cone but I like that because I can add water close to the rim if I want and walk away. Usually I stand there and slowly pour the hot water over the grounds which does take time, unlike hitting an on button on a coffee maker and walking away. There is a little indentation for your thumb in the handle which I love because, as another review noted, this does have some heft to it. It's well made, rinses well and fits most of my mugs. I love that I can make the coffee directly into my Thermos travel mug in the morning. This eliminates the cleaning of the coffee pot and plastic filter holder (yay! no more plastic). I make the coffee, toss out the paper filter of grounds, rinse the cone, place it on the dish rack to dry. Later I store it on a mug near my electric teapot. It's perfect for me.

The Perfect Pour Over
Been using a coffee pour over for over 10 years, I even have a plastic one to take on trips with me, it's the only way to go. I didn't realize the attributes of a good pour over until I broke mine a year ago and was struggling to get one which performed as well. The key to a good pour over it the filtration rate. I just use the inexpensive 2 cup filters you find at every grocery store. The 4 things that determine how fast or how slow the coffee will come into your cup are coffee grind, hole size, number of holes and the rib depth. I didn't realize how important how important the later was until I purchased one with shallow ribs. The Chantal has it all with it's two hole pattern. It's the perfect size for the 2 cup filter and it does not weigh too much. The base diameter is perfect for most coffee cups and having a window at the bottom is nice to see your progress, no more over filled messes!

Has two holes and makes wonderful coffee, but quite heavy.
I had to order this product without much market research because my friend broke the one I had been using for a long time (bought at a boutique coffee store in London, England) and I only drink pourover coffee in the morning at home. Because my older one was shattered, the key feature I was looking for was a bit of sturdiness, even in ceramic form. (I refuse to use a plastic filter because of health concerns.)I have been using the filter for more than a month now. When it arrived, I was a bit surprised by the size of the filter. It was a lot bigger than the one I had in the past although both filters fit #2 paper filters. Similarly, the filter was a lot heavier than the one I had in the past. For those of you with weak wrist, you may want to take this into account. It's excessively heavy to make it impossible to use, but not as light as feather and definitely heavier than some other well-known ceramic filters. So, the most important part: coffee. I specifically wanted a filter with more than one hole at the bottom because I don't like the idea of a single hole. This one has two (maybe this is why I bought this). Because the holes are slightly on the smaller side compared to my previous one, the coffee comes out a bit slower, but not too slow. It takes about 10 seconds to get a 12oz mug filled. One thing I really love about this filter is the peeking hole, which allows me to know exactly how much water I should pour into the filter. This makes the pouring part so much more enjoyable as I don't have to worry about making too little or too much. This is a really good filter and I am very happy with my purchase. The only reason I gave this four stars is because of its size (takes up a bit of space in my cupboard) and its weight. Since I wanted a sturdier ceramic one, I guess I should have expected this. However, I have issues with my wrist and do not prefer heavy objects. For those without space or weight issues, this would be a perfect filter for that blissful homemade pourover cup of coffee.

Best one for pour over
My first one didn’t survive a fall onto tile. Neither did the tile. These are the best I’ve found as the coffee doesn’t drain too fast giving time for the coffee to brew. I also like the hole in the base to see the liquid level in your cup.

well made
This item arrived fast and spectacularly well-wrapped. Great to see a vendor treat the customer with respect. The item is very well made and very solid. At first, I was taken aback by its size and only two drain holes; but it passes with flying colors on both counts. The unit fits a broad range of mug sizes because of its great design and balanced structure. To my surprise, the drain holes are very effective.I used to use an Italian Alessi espresso pot. I am glad to have switched to a ceramic/filter system. It is much easier on the stomach.
