Findus at Christmas (Findus and Pettson) Hardcover – August 8, 2011

Oh, what a wonderful book! I love how it tells a great Christmas story and, also, at the same time, teaches children (and adults) about a new culture and customs. I will order more at Christmas for my other little friends. The whole family can enjoy this!

Bought this to share with my grandchildren at Christmas time. Immaculate condition, illustrations just jump off the page and Findus is the greatest cat in the history of the species.

Findis is a favorite with the grandchildren. The stories and illustrations are always fun.

I’ve been a huge fan of Findus and Pettson books ever since I was a kid and my mom brought me home a copy from Norway. The stories and illustrations have always made me smile. The illustrations are so detailed with lots of little characters you might miss if you if you read too fast. I love Findus the Cat so much! 100% adorable!! I wish the United States were more aware of these books, because they’re absolutely wonderful. Sven Nordqvist is a genius!

Ordered for my wife. Our first exposure to Findus and Pettson. Liked it to enough to buy two more books in the series.

Perfect book for the Christmas Season. My 2-1/2 year old highly enjoyed it. Reading level is too advanced for her, but I paraphrase part of the story. The pictures are perfect with lots of little details to engage their imagination. The story is enchanting and very heartwarming, conveying the message of how important it is to help each other and that it's love (for your friends and family) that makes Christmas. I also liked that two main characters each gave a small gift to the other (a jojo and a potato peeler) and that both were so content with that. A beautiful story that shifts the focus away from gifts and materialism and back to love and friendship and the simple joy of helping each other.

Love everything about this book. Arrived timely and packaged well
