Bluetooth capabilities to pair cellphone devices!
I bought this phone because of its Bluetooth capabilities. Phones works and pairs well with cellphones. You can answer incoming calls from two different cellphones on the devices. Volume of call is a little lower than what I prefer even though I have the highest volume setting. Easy to install. The phone is very light in weight. Ease of use:Yes, instructions are clearValue for money:YesSize:GoodFunctionality:Good

Love the call block feature
I bought this phone (set of 3 w/answering machine) to replace my very old AT&T set of 3 w/answering machine. I think because I previously had a similar phone, it was very easy to set up and use from the start. The instruction booklet has 112 pages which could be daunting for a first-time user, but I only had to reference a few of those pages to get going with the features I most needed (setting up my list of contacts, putting a message on my answering machine, and setting up call blocking). I absolutely LOVE the call blocking features. You have various choices on how you want it to be handled and there is a separate pull-out instruction booklet for that which was very easy to use. It's like having your own personal office assistant. The sound is fantastic, the phone is as good-looking as any phone can be. I was shocked at all the spam messages that went right to block/reject call (without my phone even ringing); and when a legitimate call came in from someone not on my list, the person was asked to state their name and phone #, and then I could decide if I wanted to: a) take the call, b) send the call to the answering machine, c) block this person forever. Calls from those on my contact list rang right through seamlessly as they should. I LOVE IT! I am not using the cellular/blue tooth feature as that is not something I would find useful so I can't provide info. on that. I am writing this review because I greatly appreciate all the individuals who wrote reviews on so many of the various phones offered -- I read way too many of them and finally just had to dive in and pick one. I'm so glad I chose this model.

Even better voice quality than the one it replaced. Removed two stars later due to issues.
Added 6 8 21I have dropped this item from 5 stars to three. The voice quality is still good.I dropped one star as I said I would becasue the date and time have to be re-set every time the power flickers or goes out. It would have taken a small battery or a capacitor that would probably cost less than a dime to have this not happen.I dropped one star because the directions for adding listings to the directory no longer work. They never worked as printed in the handbook, but I had made a note to correct the part that did not work as printed. (On page 37, if you follow the process in item 4, you need to press Menu/Select to store when you finish.) That whole process no longer works. If I follow the directions, ADD NEW ENTRY never appears. All it offers me now is the option to replace my first listing. I can add an item to the directory from the Caller ID, but this is not my usual choice. Here is the original reviewOur former AT&T phone system lasted 12 years and died due to a battery swelling up and destroying the system. We had had to go to third-party batteries because AT&T had quit making them. However, this one has a bit more volume and even better voice quality than the EP-5995 it replaced. This was the main feature we needed, and that alone was enough for me to give it 5 stars. I also appreciate that the contacts only have to be entered on one handset. They then populate across the other handsets. The setup is indeed tedious, but we managed it. Some users say that the date and time will have to be re-set every time the power goes out. If this proves to be the case I will come back and take off one star. I will have to dig out the manual to re-do this. It would have taken only a little bit of engineering and a coin battery to make this unnecessary, and I know it will be a big issue for the many people who got this phone and set it up for older relatives. The message waiting light is indeed dim, although other lights on the handset and base are bright. The labeling of the rocker button on the handset and the base is really hard to see, another issue for the older people who will be a large part of the market for this phone. Thankfully, this model moves the handset Call Block button to the bottom of the phone from the middle of the rocker switch, where it would have been much too easy to press while trying to increase the volume (and thus blocking calls from someone the user probably wanted to talk to). This was an even bigger "gotcha" for an elderly person with vision problems. The new location is not great, but it is better.

Can't set up the phone, apparently a hardware problem.
Just purchased this phone and was unable to get it to work. Repeatedly got the message "out of range or no power in base". Searched the web for how to fix this and also found and reviewed the AT&T owner's manual. The most consistent advice was to reboot the phone (turning off the power), which didn't work, nor did the other suggestions. The phone was in the base and plugged into a working outlet. The manual says that if their fixes don't work, it is a hardware problem. Judging by all the web traffic, apparently this is a common problem with this phone. So I returned the phone for full credit.
